8.5/10 I almost love it, best rucks avaialble (given nicnat is out).

I would cut buddy and get in ablett or swan ( that is the BIG DOWNSIDE OF YOUR TEAM). not buddy in - ablett swan out...

i'm not a fan of yarran but the pick makes some sense.

I would go Buddy - Varcoe/Knights/Kenndy WCE - or whoever you can aford. and Fyfe - Ablett.

Not having Ablett or Swan will cost oyu a LOT fo points until you get them. X2 as they are captains on your opponents teams.

That said Kennedy plays 4 easy games in a row and could be captain material himself for the first 4 games of the season.

Great team tho well done and good luck for 2013.

Agree on Swan/ablett/buddy comment above. Also not so sure on goodes in the midfield, plenty of other options there. May as well have in def and just pick one PTA rookie (whoever gets to run first)

Cheers guys, I am not that keen on GAJ this year due to his team being another older and more then likely scoring more points therefore giving Gaz a smaller slice of the points, also has had a niggling injury all preseason so I'm not willing to spend nearly 750k on one player. Thanks for the advice though!

the niggling injury is a concern and makes sense - so does the price tag.

but on the "he is in a better team" part = SWAN - plenty of players to share the points with there but doesn't stop him getting his share

and certainly won't stop Gaj. still he makes a mighty fine upgrade target also at that price - good luck.

Solid side but fwd line depth a concern.
If you dont have gaj you need swan. Hes the only guy that grabs big scores regularly enough to counter the hurt from not have gaj. Sloane a curious pick, honestly cant see him going super premium so not worth getting.
A good start, keep tinkering

I know you may think why Moller, but I am going to use him as the captain loophole as it is very easy to do now with the rolling lockout.

Like the Shaw to Hanley swap as one is more likely to go up, the other down - and I think you've picked it right. Are you a stockbroker?

5 mid 'keepers' (hopefully) but I think Ablett, Swan, Beams, Danger and Watson could all be better than some you've got, which means more trades burnt or fewer points. (If I'm right).

Don't know how much you gain by Jacobs to Maric. Can this money be better used elsewhere?

Unlike some relatives (our poor retarded cousin) I like your team - a lot.

8.4/10 - need Ablett.

I think without Gaz you could easily have 4 "prem" backs
