Thanks for looking, the plan here is to get moloney to GAJ as early as possible, and generate cash with an underpremiumed mid.

Happy to give my lowly opinion on your team if you post me the link!

Cheers

daniher is costly and a key position player may not make you the sort of scores, cash you are hoping for or fat enough.

Mids look good, i like ball over moloney but moloney is good and Ringo rates him ( resident Lions expert)

make sure Luenburger is ready to go round 1 since you have opted for no DPP cover.

is franlin worth it from round 1?

love walker. lecras is expensive he MUST FIRE to pay off.

don't rate adcock bit inconsistent but he does have a pretty easy draw early

rooks all look good at this stage.

Otherwise very nice effort, nice balance and guns and rooks mainly cant go wrong.

good luck in 2013.

I like the Moloney. I heard his season was shower because he didn't get along with the new coaching staff. Hopefully at a new team he will beast out and make you some coin.

I also heard Daniher won't get many games this season, might be a better option getting a cheaper rookie and spending that 50k towards your GAJ fund etc. Surely his price will come down, right?

Also LeCras has never aaveraged over 86. Don't expect him to suddenly start scoring big, esp coming off a leg injury!

Apart from that it looks pretty good from here!

Thanks for that guys, much appreciated. I've had LeCras in and out a bunch of times, seem to be going between him n kennedy but not particularly happy with either, any suggestions?

Also not sure on a replacement for Daniher, bit of a forward rookie drought (had staker there til injury news). And although they probably won't be rushing him in, there is definitely a spot for him in the bombers forward line (monfries gone, hurley spending more time in defence, crameri being s**t) Also the irrational little bomber inside me is singing out that he is the answer to all our prayers and will go on to boot 120 goals in his first season.

Nice team here Nick.
Nice PODs.
I'm going with Daniher after yesterdays intra club match, 15 marks and 2 goals. he will play is a little injury prone though.
Very balanced team mate. well done.

nice info creeker - 15 marks  :o  that's fantasy gold in any competition.....

they have hurley and those 3 rucks is all that puts me off him, as good as he is where does he fit?

nick wilkesmann

right... another go with some changes

lecras -> byrnes
adcock -> heppell
Lonergan -> Hill (decided he's my little smoky)

Happy to start buddy even if he drops a little. My first target is gaz and ive got a plan there, could be a while before I scrape the buddy cash.
Hopefully fix up the fwd/ruck swing when nicnat is up and dominating again in a few weeks, not superstoked on ryder or roughy.

I probably have a bit too much cash now though! would like 100-150k in the bank, suggestions on the rest?

Peace

Backline: Quite similar to my own, Stevenson an interesting selection but obviously as the NAB cup goes on you could swap him for another rookie.
Midfield: Liking the selection of Kennedy. Swans have a fairly good first few games so he could smash it early on. Brad Hill as a unique is well, unique. I know he's rated at Hawthorn, but it's a tough midfield to break into, just who is he going to push out? Sub vest could beckon again.
Rucks: Dan Currie is quite similar to Goldstein, more of a tap ruckman, so I see Daw getting the gig because he can play forward too.
Forwards: Very weak area, this is where I'd be spending the excess cash. Can't see Varcoe averaging more than 75-80 points, so I don't have him as a keeper. Upgrade him to a real premium. Doubt Daniher will get many games either, they'll be patient with him while they have so many options up foward.

Overall, I think that you may as well get on Ablett now. Otherwise you spend the first few weeks working out how to get him in, rather than using those trade to potentially net you more cash. Solid team, but the forward line is just too weak.
