3rd attempt at this team i feel im getting closer..

I was going to swap Ball to Swallow but i think ill see how Ball goes first.

Ill be going into round 1 with 289k is that too much?

Just a comment $289k is a bit much to have in reserve,  I would use this to get in either Ablett or Franklin as I believe you will need one of these to be competitive from the start.

Goodes may be a waste in mids if he does not get elevated and with 30 trades available this year DPP (apart from Rucks) is probably not as important in previous years,  Also with best 18 on field scores counting during byes reduces reliance on DPP as well.  Watch Wines in NAB cup and if funds allowed he may be an alternative.

Just watch NAB cup to finalise rookies,

You have nice selection of prems and a sound POD in Atley and maybe Hawkins.

If happy to go without either Ablett or Franklin then stick with gut.

I tend to argree with Ringo.

Wouldn't you sleep easier if you knew you had at least one of Allett and Franklin?

Also, Goddard has been so good for the last few years, what do you gain by not having him? You'll pick him up at some stage, so why not now?

To score well early, you'll need to spend some of that money (it's not real).

So maybe something like

Hanley to Goddard
Cotchin to Ablett
Hawkins to Buddy

Downgrade Ball to Wines
Downgrade JJK to Byrnes if you need more money.

Thanks for the advice guys,

but only worry is Ablett has to score 135 or so to break even
Franklin might start off slow because of the hard draw the hawks have.

But i will take all advice on board

Pretty good effort I reckon, Is there a plan with the extra cash (ball to ablett round 5ish or something like that?) Even still its money that could be working for you in the early rounds. Could also some of the cash for kennedy-> LeCras who seems to have more potential?
