Anyone know of some secret remedy to get of gastro ASAP?

I have my engagement party this Saturday night and can't be running off to the toilet every 5 minutes..  :-\

 The chemist should have some gastrolyte or hydrolyte to keep your electrolytes up. You just sip it all day.

or you could also just drink sports drink ie. gatorade, powerade etc..

THere is also a drink called Pocari Sweat which you can find in Asian Groceries which restores electrolytes as well

Haha, you get used to the taste after a bit, or at least I did.

Gastro sucks though, but the gastrolyte/hyrdolyte/gatorade helps heaps. I must have downed a dozen gatorades the last time I had gastro.  ::)  :P

Too true. You should be right if you just keep downing the gastrolyte as often as you can (which it should say on the box or whatever). I got over it in like 3 days-ish once.

Mate, had my first taste of gastro this xmas, not nice and was to scared to pass wind for three days. Don't really know a cure, but i hope you're fine for your engagement. I just rode mine out, or should i say ,sat mine out :)

Birdy didnt make an appearance to my engagement but Simon Buckley did to my surprise lol
