just found this interesting. A bit scary to see richmond with such a low playing average age...

Jroo

We surely wouldn't be that low this year, with some of our older additions.
With the added experice, I think we can step into the top 8  8)
Go Tigers  8)

Toga

There we go, I've always wanted to see this list cos I thought the tiges were a lot younger than everyone thought!

Nice one Zippy! :D

We sit 8th on both lists, interesting.

If only that translated into ladder position.  ::)

Look where Adelaide is, ok they lost Tippett but JJ will improve and so will Tex to cover it, Brown is more than a replacement for Doughty

So why are we so underated? :-\  One kick from the granny ;)

So many young players to improve for us

I remember when GC joined the comp, Richmond has a list at a very similar age...

SydneyRox

people read too much into these numbers.
when the hawks won in 08, this was the slide they brought out to show why they were going to win the next 4 flags!
syd and hawks now have two of the oldest lists, still most likely to make the granny again

Doesn't matter how young your list is if your young players are shower.

you really have a way with words MM

Essendon would probably be bottom of both lists if Dustin Fletcher didn't skew their averages so much!

I agree such lists are overrated. Probably more interesting is the amounts of players on a list over 30. Replacing valuable senior players is one of the major challenges as St.Kilda and Western BUlldogs are finding. That said Sydney just keeping turning them over without any problem.

it is crazy that Melbourne has only 5 more games experience per player than the Gold Coast

Yes Oss but Coast is being skewed by the "experienced" players the have in Ablett,(232 games)  Campbell Brown (192 games) Brennan (159 games) Riska (146 games) and Bock (138 games)
