First time player but i think i am sitting ok.

Defs: Goodard, Gibbs, Dempsey, Atley, Tambling, Terlich (Goodes, Docherty)
Mids: Ablett, Swan, Pendles, JPK, Cotchin, Crouch, Mitchell, O'Meara (Graham, Viney)
Rucks: Goldstein, Leunberger (Witts, O'Halpin)
Fwds: Cox, Rockliff, Cloke, Josh Kennedy, Byrnes, Mcaffer (Lee, Neade)
$40k in the bank.

Def; standard 2 locks of most teams in Goddard and Gibbs then your team gets a bit interesting. Dempsey is a fairly risky pick only averaged 78.2 last year and for around 415k i dont see him getting the improvement to the 90ish average you need. Atley is being thrown around as a possible breakout contender so its personal choice if you want to be on that roller coaster. Tambling had a good NAB round 1 and i know there was an injury recently to open up a spot but i like Luke Brown a lot more and he's cheaper. Most have forgotten Sam Shaw is to return shortly too.

Mids; Love it cant really complain here

Rucks; standard combo except for the inclusion of O'Hailpin. The 257k i think is too much to a) risk on O'hailpin staying fit, b) to have on the bench and c) for a guy who will probably only play 15 games this year

Fwds; yet again your first 2 of Cox and Rockliff is infallible however Cloke at F3 and JJK at F4 is far too weak especially considering the lack of good fwd rookies this year.

My changes. Downgrade Tambling and Atley to rookies probably Pittard and Brown. Upgrade Dempsey to a true keeper that should average 90+ Birchall, Shaw etc

Downgrade O'Hailpin to another fwd/ruck rookie Sinclair or Rowe

Upgrade 2 of Cloke, JJK or Byrnes to the likes of Walker or Hawkins and probably Mitch Rob or Dusty

Def: Dempsey is a Risk would upgrade to Heppell
Mids: Seems to be OK although its better that you have 5 Premiums
Rucks Replace O'hailpin with Rowe
Fwds: I would look at upgrading Cloke to Hawkins may need to upgrade Kennedy but would see how he goes in the NAB Cup.

Overall Not the worst team i have seen but can be improved. 7/10

Super strong midline (unnecessarily strong IMO) makes other lines weak, and detracts from your ability to milk those up and coming mid cash cows - mooooooooooooooooooooo!

Dempsey - never again. Twang goes his soft tissue every single year I have him.

Atley could be good. Your call.

Forwards are weak as. I really think you should dump one mid gun and replace with a rookie and go back to the drawing board after Cox and Rocky in your forward line. You might like what you see. Actually, keep Byrnes, Macaffer, Lee and Neade if you like, just get rid of Cloke and JJK.
