Hello to my fellow AXV's Members

I would also like to formally apply for the position of Head Coach with the KL Crocodiles!

Currently an Assistant coach with the Mongolians Lambs where I have been learning the ropes and helping with trade talks for the last few weeks.

Here is what I would consider the Crocs starting line up.

Defense - Gibbs (VC), Taylor, Grimes, Frawley
Mids - Cotchin (C), Rich, Bennell, Coniglio
Rucks - Bellchambers
Fwds - Lecras, Jetta, Hurley, Betts
Uti - Liberatore, Caddy

We would use an aggressive trading approach over the next 1-2 years to develop the depth required to become a serious contender, and I would like to see the Crocs winning a flag by 2016/17
Currently the Crocs are a young team with emerging talent across all lines. Some ideas for improvement would include finding some developing KPP forwards to match in with our small forwards brigade and finding another proven ruckman for the short term until Grundy and Hickey have had time to develop.

Part of the job would also be to establish a greater off field presence.
- Signing sponsorship deals
- A new home ground stadium would be the first objectives.
- Finding a #1 ticket holder to help promote the brand and give us permission to use their music for the club song

                     Frank Churchill - Never smile at a crocodile

These small things are all very important to help create the strong club culture I would bring to the Crocs. A strong and fair contested playing team with good outside run and carry. I also know I would make a very good senior coach, have been a member of the FF community since 2010, on very regularly including through the off season and was recently awarded Veteran Coach Status for my work around the boards! (Edit - Now back to Expert since Whatlez deleted the Tippett thread!!)

I acknowledge the strength of my opposition coaches and will be happy to congratulate the eventual winner, as befitting the good sportsman I am.

Nice application SydneyRox.

I can vouch for SR who I signed as an assistant coach at the lambs about a month ago - his advice in regards to trading and the naming of our leadership group and our best 22 has been awesome, and a big help to me and pickers. Is wry dedicated and on regularly, is a great candidate for the coaching gig.

I also really like his proposed off-field improvements to the team! :P

everyone better have their team lists up to date by the end of nab cup or I'll sack them for extreme uselessness.  :o

there is a copy of everyone's team list in a separate thread FFS how hard can it be to copy and paste it to the team thread :)

as for all the artwork Adamant may be persuaded to help with that, and as for everything else that's THE COACHES JOB !

It is going to be hard enough choosing between these 3 applicants but I am planning to leave this open for people to nominate for the Krocs role until tomorrow night then put it to the vote, so please PM any assistants you or anyone else may have so they can apply before tomorrow night.

I'll pm all head coaches ( 1 per team ) tomorrow night and request the votes then.

I'm quite handy with Photoshop and know my way around HTML so there will be off-field sprucing up from my end if I get the gig.

I've also approached the NT News about a possible cross-country sponsorship deal (they love their Crocs) :P

Let me counter that by saying, it is a travesty the amount of Hawks players on the Crocs list. I will aim to rectify that at the next trade period!!
