Rate: Risking injured players could pay off :o !

Hey guys what do you think about this setup aimed for end of season bragging rights at the bar, not the $50k.
Little bit risky going in with a few injured/injury prone players in Hartlett, Embley, LeCras and Ball
but if they can return to their previous form it would be well worth the risk.

I reckon Moloney will be out to prove something this season, Ball will come good, and
Hartlett is due. Embley and LeCras are my biggest question marks.

I realise the midfield is weak at this stage but like I said, but my goal is to beast out in the
second half of the season. I figure all those rookies could turn into some pretty juicy cash cows
down the track to upgrade the middle priced players.. as long as they hold their value.


DEF: Goddard, H. Shaw, Gibbs, Duffield, Hartlett, Terlich, (Staker, Colquhoun)

MID: Pendles, JPK, Cotchin, Moloney, Ball, Embley, Wines, O'Meara (Crouch, Viney)

RUC: Cox, Leuenberger, (Witts, Currie)

FWD: Franklin, Rockliff, Broughton, LeCras, Macaffer, Daniher, (Kerridge, Lee)

i rkn you spent to much on your DEF, goddard, shaw, gibbs, i rkn would be enough or you could leave harlett aswell and get rookies.

MID: would suggest to have 5 prems, id take out moloney, ball and embley, and upgrade to gaj and danger?

RUC: is solid, but id put cox forward, go with goldstien in ruc.

FORWARD: daniher wont get to much playing time this season as ive heard, id go for a player like siposs. broughton is tuff could go either way!

Different team strategy here which may pay off - Good luck for the bragging rights.

Def: Even with your strategy I think you can drop one of Hartlett or Duffield back to a rookie or Yarran - Lot of defence rookies look like playing this year so watch NAB cup for options.
Mids: Maybe upgrade one of Moloney or Ball to a prem.
Rucks : Sound but as has been suggested move Cox Forward and then bring in a R/F DPP such as Rowe, Sinclair or McBean. Replace Cox with a ruck you can afford.
Fwds: Cox to replace Broughton - do not think he will make you cash and do not consider him a keeper either in forward line. Daniher may not games required if reports can be believed so watch Neade again in the NAB cup as a possible alternative and some extra cash.  If Cash allows see if you can also upgrade Le Cras but not necessary.
