You have 4 solid backs, 4 solid mids & 2 solid rucks, but the area where I think the side is lacking a bit is the forwards - Cox, Rockliff & Robinson are solid, though not to everyone's taste, but if you compare Sylvia as your F4 to Heppell as your B4, I think most would think Heppell was clearly the better player.
How you want to improve your forwards if ultimately up to you - also Varcoe seems to be too good/expensive to start on your bench. You could use the extra cash to improve Sylvia to someone better, perhaps turn Sylvia & Byrnes into a premium & a rookie, or a number of other options.

Note, I'm not ecstatic about Sylvia - not sure why Boyd offers value..... but like the rest of your team.

Yes, Varcoe on the bench is expensive.... but, he might be a good cash cow, and Byrnes/Macaffer could easily miss a game, so the ability to throw a good player (Varcoe) in is nice. I have Byrnes on my bench, though, note, this may change.

You do realise Rocky will be one of the most selected players in 2013?

He had a terrible 2012 (due to Voss sticking him at Full forward every game), yet still managed a 93 average. His 93 average placed him as the 8th highest averaging forward for 2012. With the recruitment of a couple of tall forwards in Stefan Martin and Paparone (there was another one too), he won't be required up forward and will go back to racking it up in the midfield.

This year was worst case scenario for Rocky, and he still averaged 93. Even if he replicates that, you've got yourself a top 8 forward, but the chances are he'll go 105-110+ with his old mid role. Rocky himself even said on DT Talk that he'll play predominately midfield:

"I think I will play a lot more in the midfield and just drift forward for smaller periods of the game. I think we tried a different role for myself later in the year, but I personally think my best position is an inside midfielder."

Seriously Cic, how many forwards are there that are priced at 90 and have the potential to average 112? Can't see any reason at all why you wouldn't pick him...
