you miss a big issue and that is (and i cant be showered getting exact numbers) but the top rucks dont get their scores based on tap work, its around the grounds marks, tackles, goals that score the big points.

Being an athletic big guy doesn't automatically equate to topshelf ruckman (Jesse White, I'm looking at you...).

Such a disappointment!!  white has everything to be massive..... you know i reckon he will end up an AA defender.....

since this  is my 2500 post i will remember. think...... Leo Barry, LRT, Heath Grundy, Ted Richards - all these guys couldnt find a place in the swans forward line. They haf the talent, but couldnt cement a spot, but going into defence they found their niche.
So the question i ask is when do the swans defence struggle?? Considering they were the #1 defence last year, not often. But when the opposition has a big, imposing fwd (think cloke, buddy, brown) is when the defence is stretched.
We need a gorilla in defense. With Tippett recruited there is no way white is going to get a game in the fwds.
A switch to defence is the move, and he will make it.!!!

ps. The guy just turned 25!! Got more than enough time!!

Massive call Roxy, but if memory serves me correct, last year after White was dropped from the 1s he was trialed at CHB in the 2s and played ok. But he will be in the list of Everitt, Armstrong, Towers fighting for a spot in the 1s.
