hello, could you educated fellas please have a look at my team. i haven't played dream team or supercoach before but got roped into playing a $20 comp with some mates and wouldn't mind getting a good starting team to see how i go ;D

cheers

pretty good for your first go

Bock will probably miss first half of the season so get B.Goodes in for him
Dick probably won`t play until later in the season if he gets a game at all so bring in Neade or Lee
Not sure on Pederson if you have enough after trading Bock see if you can get someone like Hartlett or Duffield
Atley could very well break out this season risky pick tho

Backs: Probably a bit week for my liking - need someone better than Atley at D3! I suggest you downgrade either pedersen OR bock to a rookie such as Bret Goodes, and upgrade Atley to a premo, such as Grimes/Stanley/Broughton. I quite like Bock tbh, think he will miss a few rounds but could get up to around 80ish imo when fit and fully firing 8) Rookies look nice.

Midfield: Very nice imo. Premiums are all very good, you would be loving it if Selwood came out and absolutely blitzed it, he will be so unique! Is Wingard a smokey of yours? Looked good the other night in NAB, not sure whether he'll be worth it though... Rookies are nice.

Rucks: Premiums are nice, can't fault them. Not too sure about either of your rookie rucks though - could you tell me more about them? Not sure either of them will get games... I'd probably look at Witts/Grundy/Daw instead, but if you think they will play, go for it!

Forwards: Very good looking forward line. Can't really fault it at all, I like all of your selections!

Overall: Very solid team for your first go mate! The only change I'd really suggest is:
Bock -> B.Goodes
Atley/Pedersen -> Broughton/Grimes/other

I like Currie. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-01-22/afl-fantasy I chose Witts over Currie.... but, Currie is my first pick, then Witts.

http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,69660.0.html might struggle to make it over Daw, so I might have to change my mind...

"Former Sydney Swan Daniel Currie performed well enough to suggest he could be a valuable backup to Todd Goldstein in the ruck."
