Give_It_To_Kobe

hey guys, long time sc player first time here at ff
was looking for some feedback

Goddard, Hanley, Pearce, Heppell, goodes pittard (Docherty, Terlich)

Ablett, Stanton, Judd, Barlow, K.Cornes, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney (K.Mitchell, T.Mitchell)

Mumford, Bellchambers (Currie, McBean)

Roughead, Rockliff, Wright, Cloke, Wellingham, McCaffer (Hitchcock, Kerridge)

what are your thoughts?

fever

lot of red flags mate.

i know having a unique team can be beneficial, but i'd stay well away from stanton, judd, cornes, mummy, bellchambers (that's a maybe), cloke.

how much cash do you have left? i'd look to get franklin or cox in the fwds (try to turn cloke into one of them if possible).

i'd also try to turn mummy into jacobs (or sandi), bellchambers into leuenberger, stanton to fyfe, judd to a 600k+ mid, then depending on your cash some tinkering either up or down for cornes.

heres the idea
judd is the man, and always is has and will  be the man. I wont be surprised if he wins a brownlow this year and averages 120+ for 558k its worth the risk
stanton is someone who will thrive in the way the bombers will play this year, he will have a great start to the year
cornes is a gut feeling, could change him to someone else
mumford is someone who had injuries last year who ruined his season, can you honestly tell me as a bloke who was 600k+ last year that he isnt worth it

i have 172k left and was thinking of going cloke to cox but im not sure, trav seems like a steal

its all about an even spread of scoring potential and with 30 trades this year im looking to have a big risk year

just my thoughts though, i guess this is why this forum is here

First off your wrong bout Judd, his day is well and truly done! Stanton and corns are big risks and may not be worth it, mummy and belly are different and have a much better chance of paying off than your other risks.
If you do end up going for a risk year it will be very interesting to see how you go, good luck!

Welcome to the forum,

I love your enthusiasm for the slightly less popular players.

However, your aim should be 22 premiums by year's end with a few trades left for finals.

If your 'risky' ploys are 50% successful I still think you are going to be a long way behind.

Not even our 'low risk' guys can be assured of staying premium - look at Mumford last year.

If I use my DocTor team analyser, apply the 50/50 risk interdigitator, assume a couple to premiums slide and allow you the benefit of the doubt on your rookies then I come up with the following conclusion -

You're going to run out of trades.

4 lower risk guys plus 6 riskier types leaves you 12 premiums to grab.

That is a lot of trades.

Love the forum.

Good luck - it's only a game - one that matters though!

i like your view on things, although alot of my hopes rest on players performing like i expect them too haha

tor01doc

Having said all that, I appear to have more than half your players in my current team.  ;)

Give_It_To_Kobe

hahahaha   ;D
30 trades is just too appealing haha

i just hate when people have a unique team post it on here and change it all to become the standard team...

just upgraded mumford to sandi with some leftover coin, cant not have the big giant

tor01doc

Next you are going to change Bellchambers to Leuenberger! Ha.

Give_It_To_Kobe

not a chance haha, as a bombers supporter a little bias is always good haha

tor01doc

Wtf with Judd then!!  :o

Give_It_To_Kobe

because no matter how much i hate carlton, he is too damn cheap!!!

j

And Mumford to Sandi. WTF??

not cheap enough to make you as much money as a good rook.

and not good enough to achieve an average in the top 8 midfielders of the comp - which is the only 8 you want at the end.

so I'm with the good doctor on that one.
