Aiming to improve on my results of the last two years (around 1000th) and possibly try and sneak into the top 100 by seasons end. Any thoughts and advice would be great, add in the link to your team and il rate yours, cheers :)

UPDATED TEAM: 17/2/13

D: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, J. Grimes, D. Heppell, S. Docherty, J. Pittard (D. Van Unen, D. Terlich)
M: G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, J. Kennedy, P. Dangerfield, T. Cotchin, J. Lonergan, K. Mitchell, J. Viney (J. O'Meara, B. Crouch)
R: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger (S. Rowe, D. Currie)
F: D. Cox, T. Rockliff, D. Martin, C. Sylvia, S. Byrnes, B. Macaffer (T. Lee, S. Kerridge)

SALARY LEFT: $5,100

Thinking about dropping Heppell to Yarran which saves $88,000 which I can then use to get Wines in the midfield and get Goodes in defence if he is upgraded from rookie list. If I don't upgrade them I could use the cash to upgrade Sylvia, thoughts???

Good team mate, only problem i have is your backline is fairly weak. Atley and Yarren at B3 B4 isn't to great, if you could find a way to make one of those in a prem then you side looks a lot more balanced

Mightytiges   You have a decent team with a weakness at D3

Backs upgrade either Atley or Yarran to one of Birchall, Heppell or Shaw as you are too light.
Mids: Solid can't go wrong with any of those Premiums.Good choice of Cash Cows.
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Can't really fault this line although buddy may have a slow start to the season due to the Hawks tough draw.

Overall  You have a close to a perfect team i give it an 8/10

Cheers guys, ive made a couple of changes from the first team (Franklin to Sylvia, Yarran to Heppell and Atley to Grimes). Keep the comments coming guys, looking for lots of advice as im aiming for overall, cheers.

Spudlicious

I know Grimes finally had an injury free year but Ill never have him again.

Not sure on Sylvia, he is too unpredictable, could avg anything from 60-100 which is a risk and is unlikely to be a keeper.

No Franklin could be a blessing or a curse, we will have to wait and see :)

Other than that a very solid team.

Please rate mine.

BACKS: All great choices. Goddard and Gibbs are locks. Grimes and Heppell will both be getting midfield time this year and should average in the high 90's.

MIDS: All great choices. JPK and Dangerfield are nice POD's.

RUCKS: Standard. No issues.

FWDS: Cox and Rockliff are locks. Martin has the potential to breakout this year and average 100 or more if he keeps out of trouble. Byrnes is good value. Sylvia is a big NO from me. He is so up and down and not worth it in my opinion. If you can find some cash I would upgrade him. Breust could be a good option.

Excellent team. 9/10.
