Why no Pittard? He seems by far the best back rookie. Turn maybe Goodes into him.
I'm a Beams fan so i'd go Beams over Boyd.
Jetta isn't a good enough DT player to bother having in your side; turn him into Knights if you were looking for a mid pricer.
I don't mind Krakour too much but others will not.
I dont think staker will be right for round 1 so maybe turn him into Mayes then turn Mayes into K. Mitchell?

Swan Fan

I would take out Franklin as he will drop in price, maybe bring in Riewoldt for him.. lose Lake for Harbrow and maybe a MID like Swan or Boyd for a Swan or a Saint as they both have easy starts to the season and you may make some good cash off them, while those 2 reduce in price..   :o  all in all not a bad team...

lake + hawks = mega junk points. keep him
sydneys style of play is not dt friendly and swan and ablett are dream team gods. Keep them
as for your big 3 in the forward line, it might be safer having just two probably leaving buddy to settle a few rounds before upgrading to him. Perhaps rocky, robbo or Nroo like said.

Big no no to jetta, staker is having knee surgery and krakour is inconsistent

A very solid team otherwise

Updated team

Thanks for the feedback and here is a team with a few changes

Backs,  Goddard, Gibbs, Broughton, Suckling, Goodes, Stevenson,  Emerg - Pittard & Terlich
Mids,    Swan, Ablett, Thompson, Boyd, Embley, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney    Emer  -  Wines & Mayes
Rucks,   Jacobs & Luey   Emerg  -  Rowe & Witts
Forwards,   N.Reiwolt, Cox, Johnson, Varcoe, Krakour, Bynes.  Emer - Staker & McCaffer

Thinking Suckling will be better than lake ???
Adelaide & St Kilda i like the look of there first few rounds hence. Thompson, Riewolt & Jacobs

Will pick Buddy up in a few rounds.

All reports on Krakour & Varcoe look good at the moment will see what happens in the NAB cup if they stay in my side.
I know Staker looks like missing the first round but should play round 2. ( could use that trade elsewhere instead of getting Staker then.

I also like the look of Nick Suban but want to keep rookies. Not sure what to do there i like the 4 & 4 set up down back.
Kane Mitchell is also on my radar but who in my mids to drop for him???

Now have 177,900k left in the bank what to do with it.

B.S

wouldnt be suprised if lake scored better than suckling this year
thompson on the way out, try dangerfield, murphy or possibly even micheal barlow who is certainly capable of a 108 year (not to mention a massive POD)

with the money, i would definately upgrade krakour or varcoe to a known dt performer or a cash cow like r. gray, c knights, m lecras.

My opinion, not yours, just an idea

Knights looks a decent mid price prospect.
If you want Mitchell just move Mayes into the fwds and get in Mitchell...? (at the expense of Staker maybe due to his injury?)

Another updated team
Going to watch all the nab cub before i change again.

Will be keeping a close eye on Pittard, Knghts, Docerty , Terlich , Stevenson & Mitchell ( hoping he gets promoted off the rookie list)

Not totally sold on Pittard yet will see how he goes
Be interesting how Lake & Broughton goes i feel they will kill it this year with new teams.
Not totally sold on Rocky yet either.
I know Boyd & Thompson are getting older now but Boyd is so reliable & Thompson has a good start to the year i feel he will punch out some big numbers. Just my gut feel Dangerfield will get more attention this year & will not outscore Thompson - Just my view.

33,400 left Feedback as usual would be greatly appreiciated

Cheers

i'm curious, why are you not totally sold on Pittard? Just because of his price?
Very nice team, I literally have nothing particularly relevant to say which I haven't said already.
I'm not sure about Rowe either; Carrazzo talked him up just recently but I'm still not sure if he will get game time.

With Pittard just because he did a good job against an SANFL side the jury is still out how to see he goes in the NAB cup. Price is not the problem as i can afford him but who to drop...... leaning towards Docherty at the moment if i put him in. After Goodes effort the other night i see him playing a fair bit early to make me money.

Who else should i drop to put Pittard in???

With Rowe he is just my Link to put Cox in if i have to i cant see me using him on the field unless he starts killing it.

Pittard average 67 in 2011 if you take out the games he came off with injury
He has 12+ possessions in every game. The game he got 12 possessions in was his first. His possessions/ game in his debut year (forgetting his injury games) of 2011 were as follows; 12, 27, 25,20, 15, 17, 17, 17, 19, 13.
I think they are impressive numbers.
He has put on 15kg since joining Port at pick 16 in the draft.
Easily in best 22, what's not to love?!
I think Pittard will score better then all of the rookies. Goodes still needs to be elevated, Docherty has questions about if he is in the 22, Terlich we haven't seen before so who knows what he will do. Wait til NAB is over before changing anything but just keep an eye out for Jaspar!

Smileys Bruisres

Cheers Fuzz for the extra info i will be definately keeping an eye on him now.  :) :) :)
