trying a few midpricers as i think the old gun rooks strategies is a bit boring even though it does get the job done. so tried to mix a bit of both in. anyway thoughts appreciated.

docherty, goodes

Like the theory. I don't mind a few mid pricers my self, just a matter of getting the right ones!

Hartlett... pass for me. Something between a mid and a prem. One good thing is he should see plenty of action in the backline.

Don't mind Shuey in the mids. He could be a pretty decent force to be reckoned with in the mids this year. Good chance of ending up as the outright number one mid at West Coast.

Forwards are probably the weakest. Would like to see another rookie in there, wouldn't mind seeing Buddy in there either.

Going to be one hell of a risk with this team as there probably won't be much room to move as the season goes on. Don't see too many going up enough in value to really allow upgrades.

yeh fair enough. going to watch hartlett in nab cup and if he looks as though he will be playing as a mid then ill get on but as a defender not a huge fan. probably change to pearce. team will most likely end up something like this.

goddard gibbs pearce pittard terlich docherty
stevenson goodes

swan gaz pendles cotchin shuey wines omera viney
jones mitchell

sandi luey
currie rowe

cox franklin rockliff martin siposs mcaffer
lamb dwyer

siposs might turn into varcoe but i like siposs as a player and as a unique.

Struggling with that myself. I really want Varcoe, but will check Siposs out in the NAB cup and see what role he plays. Might throw him in my team if he looks like becoming a rebounding defender. Seem to be a little starved for options on forward rookies this year.

was really tempted by hartlett as well, but he is yet to play a full season of footy. kind of scared me out of it, would prefer hanley, or perhaps spend a bit more for birchall

mids - i really like, top 3 are obvious, cotch going to explode, shuey could be a good pick, if he can go that extra 10-15 pts this yr(which i think he can)

rucks are fine - rowe on the bench for cox dpp which i think is very smart with sandi's injury issues.

fwds - perhaps a little weak, only really 2 premiums. rumours going around about martin (not saying they are true) and could give us a bit down year like last. i think as long as varcoe can get on the park he should be pretty good value, i reckon for siposs' price there is probably a few other players to consider also. not quite sold that he will step up enough to make it worth spending over 300 on him..

overall i rekon 6 / 10

thanks lmao. Sounds silly but thats pretty much the rating i want as if it's too high i think its too common and not unique enough. got to do something different to win it i reckon. makes it more interesting as well

Nice team starz

However there really is nothing unique about it.

I count 19 players that 80% of teams on here seem to have, it's the same structure as most too.

This could be a good thing and everyone is spot on but siposs, shuey and Pearce won't separate you from the masses, fanfooty at the very least anyway

Fantasy sites are all talking about the 3 players your banking on to be the difference

7.5/10
