It's been said that Witts will play this year. Jolly won't play every game. Hudson's almost just there as back up should anything go dramatically wrong, I think. That's how I see it, wouldn't mind a Collingwood supporter or anyone clarifying this.

Thinking they may play 1 Ruckman only with lynch floating around ? Maybe go two ruckman against sides with 2 good rucks like WCE and Freo etc.. Wouldn't mind also getting a supporters opinion on it. Hope Witts can get some time early but !

Grundy concerns definately put Witts in the box seat for Collingwoods R2, Hudson is on rookie list so needs to be elevated to senior list to play. The only thing really in the way for Witts is Lynch, who Collingwood may use as a ruck/forward to ease the load on Jolly. If so not likely to play every week.

Daw and Currie are fighting it out for R2 at NM but read that Daw will be played in a forward ruck role in NAB (http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/north-set-to-unveil-new-weapon-20130211-2e8x9.html) so may be current favourite.

Daniel Gorringe at $129K is another alternative for Grundy, he is no 2 (with Fraser and Hickey leaving) at GC who are looking to play 2 rucks.
