g'day, here is my team - im going with a stacked backline as i will cash cow the midfield and forward line as a means of upgrading....

Backs:  Newman, Goddard, Gilbee, Bock, Lockyer, Chad Cornes, Maguire
       E - Suban, Davenport

Mids: Bartel, Judd, Corey, (swallow/coughlan/hasleby/reilly), Beams, Rich
       E - Sidebottom, Foster

Rucks: Cox, Koschitzke
       E - Hampson, Sellar

Forwards: Boomer, Pav, Deledio, Stevie J, Rusling, Yarran, Mitch Brown
       E - Walker, Gumby

um, not sure on which mid priced midfielder to go with - guess we'll wait n see.

for f..k sake gumby get your body right!!

Fatty

oi! Come back with my team! :)

What's the deal with this Foster mate? Can he play? Don't know much about him and knowledge is power. Dang. Research time coming up for me.

I'm liking a double Cat attack in the centre but with Gazza and Joel Selwood. I'm hearing some talk on the Cat boards on BF that Selwoods TOG is going to increase dramtically this season and that the man missing out on midfield rotation time might be Bartel due to his ability to 'play tall' and mark well overhead.

g'day fatty!!

just looked ova at your post with ur team of it - yea our back/forward lines look a little similar.

m8 i reckon ur prob right there - gazza and selwood rather than corey and bartel. and if selwoods TOG inceases well its prob a no brainer to get him in.

m8 i don't know much about foster myself- i guess what i know is that freo have had some outs from last season so there are going to be blokes who will need to be given a go. really he's 23, played only a handful of games - is from WA, they say he's an inside midfielder??really not sure if he's playin round 1 but hey, Haselby surely can't manage 22 games for starters - bloody hell maybe besides crowley (maybe des too) they only really got palmer. what i've read and heard is that he should e getting a kick..

"can he play?"  well personally i've never seen him kick - i keep changing my side - especially my cheap players----    Anyone else got some good inside info on Andrew Foster??  lol u don't really get to see much all the way down in Hobart!!

Good team.
I don't think however that Beams will play R1 but who knows!!
Personally I'd downgrade a back, put Beams on the pine and upgrade Foster to a better midfielder.
Do not expect Hampson or Sellar to act as cash cows for you. Neither will get many games, perhaps Hampson early but once Warnock is right he doesn't fit. I don't see many cash cow ruckmen. Maybe McEvoy and Currie.
Your forward line however has good cash cow potential. Yarran, Rusling, Gumby, Walker, Brown all increasing in value with game time ( but that's risk!!! )

Not to bad of a team Midfield seems strong and Rucks very good. But I feel your defence is lacking abit IMO.
Forward line pretty good and Im not to sure if I would have Mark Williams goes missing alot but maybe at Essendon he will be more potent time will tell.

Bench players Khan Haretuku has been delisted by the Saints.
