I know its hard to sit here and guess what players are going to avg for the year but what does everyone c Stevie J averaging for the first 6 games and even year (barring no injuries, subbed games etc)? Still top 6 FWD?

I still feel a 95 avg is on the cards. Over the last 3 years his averages against the first 6 opponents are all over the shop.
Hawks - 100, North - 60 (hes only played them once in last 3 years), Carl - 68, Syd - 104, Bulldogs - 121 & Rich - 123 with a combined avg for all 6 teams as 96.

Tossing and turning between Cox/StevieJ, Cox/Buddy or Buddy/StevieJ... Being a Cats man i just feel i need Stevie in there :D

Jukes

I reckon he'll be averaging about 95 after the first 6 weeks, full-season 101-104.

I'm not starting with him for structural reasons, will get him in for Riewoldt after about a month or so.

Rate him over Cox and Buddy by far. Will average 5-9 points more than them and be the highest scoring forward apart from Rocky.

Holz

just think he is underpriced due to his injured game. I think he should average around 95 for the first 6.

Im not getting him till round 9 he will kill the dees gws and gc.

however out of those options. Cox SJ easy

I would start with Cox. Seeing as no nicnat for the first few weeks... Should mean cox could pump out some big scores!

fark it's hard to read with that coloured sh!t flashing all over the place, gunna give some poor old bloke a stoke.

If u had to pick one out of Cox and Stevie J, I think id start with big Cox. With Nic Nat out he should score really well then bring Stevie J in when he starts playing the shower teams. I will be starting with both though.

SJ's 1st month is quite a nightmare in terms of opposition

Im waiting to see what that brings, if he kills the pig for that month...get on...if he doesnt...then he is gonna be cheap so get on anyways, things ease up from then on and he should get back to his best

Im waiting out the 1st month , so many things could happen with injury to others in my team, expensive players absolutely spudding up, or must haves that are climbing at a fast rate that were missed before rd 1 lockout.

Theres usually a trade or 2 spent after the 1st month to fine tune your team where you stuffed up and need to stop the bleeding.

Isnt far off being an absolute premium and its now or never the Cats need him to step up, fire and be consistant. I have no doubt Scotty has had this talk with him over the summer & I think SJ can do it

All depends on where he plays..
If he plays mid he will kill it.
If he plays fwd its hit and miss

But if SJ plays Carlton or Sydney at the SCG (rounds 3 and 4), he gets Gibbs on him and the toughest opponent at the tough ground for DT scoring, then he's an automatic non-starter... I'll get him in the first half of the season though.

Malthouse doesn't tag so SJ will not likely get a Gibbs tag

Anyone notice him on My Kitchen Rules this week? hes partnered with Smiley

Clyde Frog

Interesting to hear that Stevie J said he was expecting to play 80% of his time in the midfield this year during a pre-game interview
