Oh wow, really, Glenn Maxwell is opening with Warner. Let's hope he goes out it like he did against the Windies (but manages to score like 100 in a session, not go out straight away)

Really I'm not too sure on this tactic, it's only the morning of day 3 so don't need quick runs or anything. I guess they just want to bury the Indians quickly with some quick runs before this pitch becomes completely unplayable.

Great that Lyon finally got some reward, he has bowled reasonably all tour, this will do his confidence a world of good and I definitely wouldn't want to face him on day 4/5.

Don't mind this tactic, you are spot on when you say they want to make the most of the pitch before it becomes unplayable. This way maxwell can play his natural game without concern, let's see how it goes. This will be a fascinating couple of days of test cricket, it's why this format is clearly the best  :)
