I think that this is the pinnacle of test cricket. Mark it in your minds forever for we may not ever see it again. Sir Ravindra Jadeja is bowling to Phil 'The Don' Hughes and Steven Paul Devereux Smith (that is his actual full name). Cricket history right here, and they say that test cricket is dead.

Seriously though Hughes is playing a knock here free from distraction or worry, just get out there and hit the ball. Obviously he was watching Starc's innings. Let's see these two put on a record partnership to silence all the doubters.

Agreed, doesn't get much better.

I had to read this twice. :-[

"Trail by 22, and with 7 wickets remaining. Math nerdness says bring on a pi-chucker. :P"

I thought it was coz Ohja was coming on at first, completely missed the pun.

A target of 200 may be defendable on this pitch... but it depends largely on Starc and Lyon for mine, if Starc can get his yorkers on target with some swing they're almost unplayable.

I don't think it will get to that stage. We will probably be bowled out around tea time with a decent lead, and they won't have the time to chase it.

Yeah, it's a shame there was rain on Day 1. I was looking forward to India taking a 3-0 lead. :(

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Sids you gun! Kohli out. India need 30 runs off 9.2 overs with 7 wickets left, obviously heavy favourites. Have to give credit to siddle though. Glad to see him get a five for never stops trying. The batting seriously is disgraceful, of starc can make 130 runs in the test why can't the top order. Pathetic. Been worse than the bowling this game. We need 3 quick wickets to be any chance.

BB67th

Ooh this is really tense now. I bet Dohni will leave it all up to the last over if he stays in.

Haha yeah probably. 4 off 17 balls, need to keep him tied down and even a calm a man as him will start to feel the pressure. Tendulkar been in for 11 overs faced 16 balls dafuq? Looking pretty good too lol 15 off 16, keep him off strike haha. Nah India should win this comfortably, 25 off 6 with plenty of gaps.

and so we are 3-0 down... Brittle batting let us down I guess! But get Starc up the order.. think Henriques needs to go, why do we insist on having an all-rounder? Bat Starc at 8, he is pretty much an all-rounder now

BB67th

Yes I agree, apart from the pair of 50s he made in the first test, Moises hasn't done much really. Hasn't scored any more runs and only has 2 wickets.
