I think Starc may miss and Maxwell comes in for the 2nd test

I think Starc looks more like getting a wicket then siddle. Starc is hot and cold all the time but is more dangerous than siddle. Siddle can barely move them ball. If Probably better if we took only 1 pace bowler into next game (patto)... Too bad we have no decent spinners but.. So have no choide but to send pace  :(.

Also i don't rate Maxwell as a test cricketer. 20/20 is all he is decent at. Mayve one dayers too! You reckon he would be up to it Tabs?

Well its either Doherty or Maxwell and we need all the batting we can get. Thats the only reason i would pick Maxwell over Doherty. Yeh Maxwell is a great 20/20 player, a great fielder and a great sledger. I think Maxwell comes in for either a batter or Siddle/Starc.

Now thinking about it, i think that Smith should come in for Watson/batter or Siddle/Starc. Nothing changes in the batting and we can a wrist spinner

Yeh batting isnt the issue but. We have the talent, there just not performing on this wicket. The Bowlers are our issue. Beer would have got a game if not injured. But yeh Docherty needs a game i think. May as well try him. If he fails, Okeefe or S Smith :/.. Wow we are despersate... lol.

Apparently Jackson Bird was sent home with a back injury. Maybe O'Keefe will replace him..?

Sounds to me like its a ploy to send out another spinner

The fast bowler Jackson Bird will fly home from Australia's tour of India to have precautionary scans on his back.

"Jackson has reported some low level back pain and we feel the best course of action to determine the issue is to send him back to Australia for scans," the Australian team doctor Peter Brukner said. "If the scans come back clear then he will return to India to take up his place with the squad."

I'm sorry but how was O'Keefe not included? I mean just look at his stats, he is the one thing I think we need in our side if we are to have any chance at all for the rest of the series.

In The Age I read an article saying O'Keefe was not picked because he is a colourful character who is not afraid to speak his mind. If this is the case then I think John Inverarity is a complete spud and should be sacked.

He said "yes there's less batting but the only way we will win this series is if we bowl India cheaply" i agree and this team gives us alot of bowling options and still maintain decent batting

Cowan has a good technique to defend opening bowlers. But on this pitch there is no need for him. But maxwell and docherty arnt going to help us get more wickets. Lets be serious.. Docherty is awesomeeeeeee one day bowler.. But what has he done in tests really... and maxwell is no better of a bowler that S Smith. Id take Smith before MAxwell. Maxwell is the most overrated cricketer in Australia. If not the world(... Thats if they even rate him)
