My 3rd test team

Warner
Cowan
Hughes
Watson
Clarke
Smith
Haddin
Henriques
Johnson
Starc
Lyon

Smith in for Maxwell, better batsman and bowler IMO. Wickets in the last test wre dollys
Johnson and Starc in for Siddle and Pattison, bowler rotation
Lyon in for Doherty, enough said
Haddin in for injured Wade, Haddin should be the test keeper against India and England anyway
I won a $5 bet with my mate that watto would go home before the series was over.

QuoteWatson, James Pattinson, Mitchell Johnson and Usman Khawaja were told on Monday morning by the coach Mickey Arthur that they would not be considered for the third Test in Mohali after ignoring team orders following the crushing innings defeat in Hyderabad. After the loss inside three and a half days, Arthur asked every member of the squad to let him know three points on how their individual performances and those of the team could be improved.
This leaves us with 12 players left one being Wade who might be out.

You forgot Doherty.

So there are 13 players but Wade will probably not play which means that one person is going to miss out, haha unlucky to be them.

This fiasco has certainly saved Phil Hughes' ass.
I should have said 12 test players left, Docherty isnt a test player

I don't see why Pattinson had to write down 'Pick better players around me and the team will do better' when surely the coaches should already realise this ?

I don't actually think I've ever laughed so hard.

Looking more and more likely that my lineup 1-2 pages back will come to fruition.

Waiting for the Aussies to do an eleventh hour change with Doherty and Maxwell being 'injured' in the warm up and Pattinson having to come back in as we have no other players on tour :o
