Forward Rookies?

Hey Guys

I am pretty sure everyone is struggling with selecting their forward rookies. Currently i am runnnig with Brent Staker, Ben Macaffer, Tom Lee and Brad Dick. Now with Staker's injury setback i am having to withdraw him from my forwards. The thing is that i can't see any viable options to replace him with. Even the rookies that are currently in my team arent even close to being guarenteed a spot round 1. Does anyone know of someone under 170,000 i could replace staker with? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah thats what i was thinking. But seriously i dont think that there is 1 forward rookies that is guarenteed a spot round 1.

stringer from the bulldogs and neade. There the only 2 i got my eye on for nab

Thanks, he is from port isnt he? Haha i do try Windigo. I am just so keen for the season to get underway. I will definitely be watching closely during the NAB Cup.

They don't have too many small fwds so I think he could get games

Unless the nab cup presents some worthy rookies, suggest you load the forwards with premos at underpriced players such as varcoe or byrnes. Plenty rookies in def and mid

Thinking the same thing, plenty of good forward mid pricers, but not many decent fwd rookies besides Staker (who's Injuired) and Macaffer.
May lock in a few mid pricers like Knights, Varcoe and Byrnes

Neade is someone that could play next year not too many players fighting for his spot.

Stringer, Mayes, Menzel, Jaksch, Neade, Kerridge, Lee, Membrey, Kennedy, Paparone, McDonough, Sumner....

I'm sure two or three of those will press for selection.

one from way left field is Viv Michie (Freo), has been mentioned in some local press for how well he is training and talked up internally, career has been stalled by injury but I've got a close watch on him for NAB. They've held him this long for a reason and midfield time is likely. Will play in 2013 though maybe rnd 1 will be a big ask.

You'd think he'd need a good stint in the WAFL before being considered. We'll see how he goes on Saturday.
