Hi guys,

So for my 5th mid spot i am going to go with a smoky midpricer.
Who is the best and why please?

Harley Bennell

Nathan Fyfe

Luke Hodge

Luke Ball

Thanks in advance and i much appreciate when you guys take the time to help me out :)

Adamant

Well, I think Fyfe is the best option, but if you're looking for a smokey, I'd say Bennell from that list.

Jukes

Agree with Ads on both counts. Fyfey should average more and has less risk than the others, but for a unique I'd go Bennell.

LF

I personally have Fyfe
Hodge and Ball may not be ready for round 1
Bennell huge risk with him but if he still had dpp he'd probably be in most teams.

Jroo

Nat Fyfe is the best in that list, but isn't exactly a smokey. I've seen quite a few people with him in their teams

truBLUE

fyfey for me ,imo he's more consistant than ball hodge and bennell and has the ability to rack up better scores  ;) so fyfey for me

Cheers man

Yeah i have had Bennell penned in since i saw his 128 against fremantle last season. He also only dropped below 85 3 times after that game which was in round 6 if i remember correctly. Not a bad effort IMO ;)

Yeah i suppose i should of not named it smokey maybe just the best midpricer thread haha myyy bad

Yeah fyfes a gun but will he still be as much of a gun when you cant have him up forward? There is a lot of other options that could easily average what fyfe does.
Hot Jalapenos out

The_Captain

Fyfe for safety. Bennell could explode.. But is not as reliable as fyfe!!

He may not be ready? Thought he was like a couple of months away from full recovery back in September. He seems to be the Lenny Hayes of 2012 for mine. Any sources on this?

Ricky Henderson: His ave from last year looks low, however that included 3 games where he was injured early on in games and subbed out. Can score big, look for him to ave 85-90.

Hoping he will be my D6 keeper

KORZA
Played 5 full games (when not the sub) and averaged 70.
I reckon he could break out, or if not he should rise in cash and you could upgrade him to someone decent

Windigo

I'm gunna say my smokey from last year, Mitch Golby.

Improvement is an assured thing you'd think, and with some nice scores last year showing what he is capable of, with another good preseason he could push 85+ this year.  8)

GM

Fyfe would be the pick from that group.
I personally am looking forward to seeing Siposs play in the nab.
Taking Goddards role at the Saints.Picks up alot of +6.

QuoteLuke Hodge = Knee: Has started low-level running after surgery to repair his PCL. Expect a late start to the home-and-away season - the skipper won't be rushed.

QuoteLuke Ball = Knee: Has been well managed and well ahead of schedule, but likely to be eased into the NAB Cup.
