D Grimes looks expensive. I'd prefer others - Atley / Broughton / Golby / Hibberd / Malceski to name a few in that price range - or Yarran - watch his role in new game plan in NAB.

Mids - nice - 2 captains.

Fyfe should rise as should Varcoe who gives fwd DPP link.

Rucks - fine.

Try find room for Cox - especially early with NicNat out.

Waite seems to miss a lot of games.

Sylvia could be pretty good but is a bit pricey for his consistency.

I think too much money left over.

I'm hoping with chaplin going to richmond grimes will get freed up across half back
Waite is a big risk that im willing to take, if he can stay injury-free i think he can have a very good year - could upgrade to cox
Also i think with moloney leaving the dees sylvia will move into his role as a full-time midfielder and hopefully take the next step forward - will watch all in nab cup very closely, cheers for that :)

I agree with all that, but, and it is a big fat hairy but, will these gambles come off?

I'd prefer to see at least one of them shelved for now, especially if you are really after overall ranking.

You could drop back quite quickly.

If more league focussed, then go for it as you won't lose a lot of money but more likely slip back on points.

Def: I think Heppell will have a better year than Hartlett Ithink you have spent too much money on this line so i would downgrade Grimes to a Rookie
Mids: Very Solid No Problems here
Rucks: Mcevoy will be a good POD.
FWDS: You really need Cox on the forward line instead of waite and maybe Wright instead of Sylvia although you have probably gone for Sylvia because of the Demons having one of the best schedules this year.

i think you need to bloster the fwds a bit. turn watts or sylvia into franklin or cox with your left over cash.
