DT Talk Thread #4 - Your must have players!

Who are some of you must have players! That are looking to score between 70+ for me personally i have 5 must have players!


1. D.Swan/G.Ablett: If you don't have one of them on your team.. then ... well .. yeah.

2.B.Gibbs: he's getting pushed into the mid.. im 100% he will have an amazing year. Don't expect him to tag much cause Malthouse isn't much of a coach who enjoys that.

3.Pendlebury: Consistent. Always always consistent. Dependable  player and always have been!

4.B.Goddard: Goddard at a team like Essendon where there's only 1 consistent 95+ player other than him.. he will smash scores..

5.T.Walker: Tippett is gone.. I have a feeling Walker will be unstoppable this year.. but that's if the Mullet stays :D


So in my opinion these are players that im sure i won't be taking out of my team! So tell me what are yours ? :)

First four I agree with. I'd probably say tex is more of a smokie rather than someone that you must have. I'm gonna add luenberger to the must haves with a subject to pre round 1 fitness clause. Lots of upside from a scoring and cash generation perspective.

4. Cotchin
5. Leuneberger (if fit)
In no particular order

Yeah, Tex is a good Smokey more than a must have imo.
Also, don't think Cotchin is really a must have either. Heaps of premo mid options.

Can see why people would mention them, both should have solid years.

If you don't have the first three you're already back a bit, next two you should defs have unless they don't fit your structure.

I dont really agree that pendles is a must have.... I personally think both beams and boyd with average better this season.

Also have a funny feeling that leuenberger will end up becoming a mega let down.

Otherwise i completely agree and think that without the majority of these guys in your team people will be in struggle town
