Hey guys, saw this on another footy website and sounded like a fun idea. The concept's simple - what major sporting stadiums have you been to, and which is your absolute favourite? Keep it to stadiums that host the most elite level of sport (e.g. AFL, NBL, NFL, etc).

To kick it off, I have been to:
MCG (Aus)
Adelaide Oval (Aus)
AAMI Stadium (Aus)
Etihad Stadium (Aus)
Yankee Stadium (USA)
Angel Stadium (USA)
Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim (USA)
Lords (UK)
Camp Nou (ESP)

Favourite: A close one between the MCG and Yankee Stadium... But I have to say the MCG!

tbagrocks

No if you streeked in them all then wow :o

Barcelona :o wowee how the frog dod you manage that?

Nige

MCG
Etihad
Bellerive (Is it still called that?)

Really none to pick from...so clearly the MCG.  ::)

Jukes

In Aus,
Patersons
Etihad (back when it was Telstra Dome)
MCG
WACA

England
Old Trafford
Wembley
City of Manchester Stadium (lol scumbags everywhere)

Favourite: Although Wembley was amazing, would have to say Old Trafford, United games had super atmosphere.

roo boys!

Pretty much just MCG and Etihad..

Been to both Subi and WACA but both when there were no matches on and I wasn't allowed in :P

Really need to get around more haha

In Australia
The Gabba obviously (surprise surprise)
Suncorp Stadium
Metricon Stadium
SCG
Etihad (was Docklands when I went there)
MCG

In US
Candletick Stadium Sanfrancisco 49'rs home ground but moving in 2014.
Amway Centre in Orlando - Home of Orlando Magic - Great Atmosphere

MCG on Grand final day would be my favourite 2002 Grand final.

Would love to go to Cardiff Arms Park for a Union Match - Think that would be something special

In Australia...
MCG
SCG
ANZ Stadium
Skoda Stadium
Etihad
Bellerive (Now Blundstone Arena)
Aurora Stadium
Sydney Football Stadium
Adelaide Oval

Overseas
Old Trafford (football one not cricket one) (England)
Ewood Park (England)
Vicente Calderón Stadium (Atletico Madrid's home ground) (Spain)
Allianz Arena (Germany)

Um that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Would have to say the best was the Allianz Arena, but that's because I went there for the '06 World Cup so atmosphere was amazing. Watched Australia play Brazil and also Serbia & Montenegro play Ivory Coast. The Vicente Calderón was also awesome, it's pretty small, but the spanish sure do love their soccer! ;D

Capper

SFS
SCG
MCG
Etihad
ANZ (Homebush-Sydney)
Parramatta Stadium
WIN Stadium
Adelaide Oval
Snake Pit
Sand Pit
Sydney Entertainment Centre
North Sydney Oval

LF

Pattersons
WACA watched Western Reds when they existed
MCG
Eithad
NIB Stadium but when it was Members Equity
Challenge Stadium years ago to watch the Wildcats
Don't know if this counts but throw in Bathurst as well.

In Australia
MCG
Etihad
SCG
Blundstone Arena
Aurora
Adelaide Oval
WACA
Subiaco
Traeger Park
Canberra Stadium
Manuka Oval (absolutely the worst was there last week for the ODI - lline ups 20-30mins for a beer- the toilets closed with 15 overs to go-shower house)

Overseas
Lords (MCC vs Australia 1989)
Loftus Road (Man Utd vs QPR)
Highbury (Arsenal vs Charlton)
Wanderers (J"burg) (Rebel Test Eng vs SA)
Ellis Park (J'burg) (24hr Concert)
Hungoring (Hungarian Grand Prix)
Spa ( Belgian Grand Prix)

I would have to say that last year I went to Etihad and the facilities and spectator comfort and the roof make this the most impressive. The same week-end I was at the 'G' and would put Etihad ahead of the MCG.
