tossing up the idea of going christensen as 4th forward. will save a lot of money and due for midfield time

thoughts?

colmullet

he's my 4th forward at the moment, nice and unique with plenty of upside.....so go away hahaha :p

ando_10

hahaha you could of bum steered but you didnt so a cheer for kind sir

The Mongoose

Shhhhh. The Mongoose likes Christensen this year.

Showed a lot of promise last year, is due for more time in the Cats aging midfield and is a highly talented player. He's capable of winning his own ball, and kicks goals for those tasty tasty bonus points.

colmullet

haha cheers, i guess i don't have the mean internet bully in me :p

Delete this thread now please.

Seriously, gotta keep him on the down low. ;D

Oh god.... he seems to be the unique that everyone is keeping quiet about.................. FFS.

Ringo

He is also in the mix for my final team.  Just waiting to see how the cats line up in the NAB cup with Pods rumoured to be a defender. If he shines in the NAB cup with their structure he is in.

apologies guys :)

Never apologise for asking the question. At the end of the day each coach can only take so many players, and from my limited experience on these forums most people won't steer you in the wrong direction deliberately.

i might roll the dice with christensen.

sid3bysid3

he's there abouts with others like breust - wait on NAB cup form.

It all comes down to midfield time now

yeh same, i think i like Breust better tho

Dayze

Let me down twice last year. Great player and Geelong have faith in him but very lightly built. He is the future for the Geelong midfield but I can't help feeling like he's gonna snap at any moment. Plus he looks so much Stokes it's ridiculous. Would rather Breaust Martin or Wright for the forward breakout. Will still b watching him gonna b a star eventually

AFL Babble

Yes, he has scored well in the past.

However, he is 1cm shorter than Rioli and I find it unlikely that he has a better tank. I can see him as an occasional wingman/ mostly forward. Caddy and a host of other dedicated midfielders will keep him away from the bounces and throw-ins.
