who are some players known for starting the year with a bang, with 44 trades getting rid of them after they start to drop off will be easy enough.

Stanton

get him beofre hte drugs were off.

However i knew the stanton pick was coming but he only started last year fast. In 2011 he actually started slowly than came home strong.

players who start strong are nomrally guys who are lacking fitness and just wear out as the season goes. e.g. Scott Selwood last year.

Scooter didn't have a preseason last year, hence his slow end to the year ;)

+stanton plays crows away rd1= slow start imo

Look at teams with great early draws like Sydney and the Saints, both play GC and GWS in the first few rounds.

Riewoldt, Siposs, ROK, Jack etc.

Stants scores ok against the crows.

Edit: 93 avg vs them career which is in the top half of his averages vs teams. A 106 and 123 in his last 3 against them is respectable.

Wait, do we count fast starts when drugs are involved? Or do we go off a level playing field?

Those hunting "so called" easy draws will find it backfires :-X

if you go after players just because they play GC + GWS for example than yes.

but if you go after players who typcially score well against those teams than thats where the value is. For example key forwards against the roos or half backmen against the roos.

Most of the rookies start a lot better than they finish.

Mr.Craig

Dangerfield averaged 114.5 in 2012 against his first five opponents for 2013.
