Yes I thought that this was the whole point of naming the position of your utility players.

It was never mentioned in Asians rules. I dunno what you were all going on about.

This is why Colli specifically said we need to list the positions of our emergencies as they cover anyone that's out and never said our utilities were used.

This is also why I made an extra effort to make sure I could get Hale as an emergency quality player in my team so I have all 4 areas covered with a M, R/F and D on my emergency bench.

There was never any talk of using a utility to cover late withdrawals.

Nails is correct, the rules were sent to every coach by PM and every coach agreed to them by confirming to me via PM.

the rules have also been posted for months on the home thread.

this talk of moving utilities instead of emergencies to cover non playing players named in other positions has never ever been mentioned in any AXVS thread anywhere ever.

the rules are simple clear and available in the home thread. Suggest you read them as every coach has been advised to new and old.

Ok Colli, that's fair enough then. Just got confused and thought we had that rule in as all the other comps do. I guess we don't need to bother with naming the position of our utility players then?

And another question. Can anyone be emergency for a utility player and get the full points? For example

-I have Ablett on my utility, he doesn't play
-I have no mids on my emergencies

Do I still get the full score or only half?

I'm pretty sure the point of naming possies for utils is for which emergency then covers that util

the point of naming the position of your utility players and your emergency players is that emergency players cover players of the SAME POSITION AS THEM at 100% of the emergency players score.

but if there is no emergency player of the player that did not plays position the emergency player of a DIFFERENT position can be used but at only 50% of the emergency players score.

so yes it is essential that i know what position your utility players and your emergency players are.

not having a go at you BB, well i am but it's ok, i never read anything either :) but i HOPE it is all clear in the rules thread....

i am constantly asking ringo what the rules are in British, and he is constantly shaking his head at me saying "it is in the rules colli"

so yeah i am not having a go, but our rules are in our rules thread (in the home thread).

Yeah that's what I assumed it was Colli, just wanted to make sure though, with all the different rules we have across the XV competitions. Re-reading the rules thread it's all clear now, so thanks :)

one i have to check who your team is, i do not know everyones team name off by heart yet, and i also have to modify your post now to record your captain and vice captain scores seperately.

just because i do it that way for every team so if one team is different it showers me and i need to take the time to change it.

so PLEASE post your team ALWAYS in the exact format i have requested in the first post.

in the case of your team koop no need to do anything now i am just deleting your updated team post and adding in your change to your original team post maister in for jones.

so our emergencies only had 5xf and 5x mid to cover

thats not sad, just dedicated :)  i know everyones teams when i think about it, but when you are adding up number after number after number, you don't want to think oyu just want to see a name and be able to go straight to the corresponding persons post bla bla.

just post teams as i say or i will sook  :'(   ok  >:(

and nails your going down to the vipers , it is becoming apparant that the upset of the season is not the bulldogs lions rather it is the vipers dongs.

you mix a viper with a dong and you have to know it is going to end in pain  ;D

Haha well I probably miss-worded that a bit. I can't name everyone's full team off by heart, but if you named a player, I'd be able to tell you which team they are in. :) Not that sad.

not that much on fire lucas and chaplin spudded up and i have no ruckman, so i have to take 47ish (half of an emergencies score) to cover luenburger....

think Nailswill still sneak in but if Beams goes 200+ as my cap and franklin spuds up as nails cap it could be interesting :)

but i have franklin in every comp except DT and sportal so i don't really want him to spud up.... maybe just a little :)
