Which Combo for M5 and R1? (Brackets are my opinion)

Mundy/Fyfe and Sandilands (110 + 115 = 225)
or
Murphy and Goldy (120 + 105 = 225)

I can't split them

I'd go option 2, but you could always team Goldstein with Fyfe or Mundy, pocket $210k and spread cash elsewhere.

Colliwobblers

murphy and goldy for SC

wouldn't mind fyfe and sandi either but murphy is a level above fyfe ( for now) may be a differnet story at some point this season.

goldy is a great SC ruck, even when he scores 50 in DT he gets 90 in SC.

It would be 130 anyway

Goldy will avg more than 105, He avgd 113 as the #1 ruckman 2 years ago. i would expect him to go atleast 110

NM's game has changed dramatically since 2011 and it doesn't suit Goldy at all! Plus with the new ruck rules i think he'll struggle a little so IMO 105-107 tops

I could not agree more  in DT - Goldy tho is a tap ruckman, he doesn't win many possessions and he doesn't apply much pressure but his hit outs to advantage are high and with the speedy NM midfield he stands to have a large impact on games simply becasue from him winning a hitout to advantage there is a strong chance it will result in a score and SC rewards that where DT does not.

think he is BOTH underrated and overrated - work that out - i am not sure how i feel about him :)

but i'll start him in SC and won't even consider him in DT - but i am just one little opinion.

Norths game plan will have little affect on a tap ruckman, they still need someone to tap them the ball.
Rule change could affect him but realistically the only 2 major benefiters of the rule change are NicNat and Ryder because they can jump over everyone. Very few others barely get off the ground anyway

Yeah your right, i forgot for a sec how much extra pints you get for an effective hit out.

I've always thought that if Sandi actually jumped more then 10cm of the ground he would never lose a ruck contest! I don;t understand why he doesn't use his height to his full ability it really baffles me

Its all a question of whos fit for me. I'd be watching the nab, if Sandi and Fyfe are fit I'd be picking that combo just, as i think you may get an extra 5 points a week. Though murphy and goldy would be a safer/more reliable bet.
