only $7,200 left in this

just looking at different strategy's here with this one.
What i mean by low maintenance is if Russell, Varcoe, Knights all got named rnd 1 it would save a lot of work in upgrading forwards and defenders

some food for thought that's for sure.

are you implying Russell, Varcoe, Knights would be keepers? I wouldn't have thought so
but yeah everything is fine but you are missing out on backline rookies so even just turn geary and russel into rookies and keep the cash in the bank to 'save work'

I'd seriously look at getting more firepower in the mids, that's where the points are to be made, not down back TBH.

It could really pay off for you going with all these Mid Pricers, but take it from me. It rarely works.

I'm not going to lie, it doesn't look flash. Too much mid priced action combined with the insane risk of playing four rookies in the mids. You could take 350k out of your backs without losing much scoring and redistribute it into the more lucrative mid and forward positions.

I think Varcoe is a winner. He should come through and have a breakout year. I don't think Russell will get enough game time for you early and Knights is too hit and miss to have as one of your starters.

I'd say change out Knights for a rookie like Macaaffer or Lee, and use the cash to upgrade Russell.

Lecca might take a while to get going so I'd hold off on him, personally wont go near Knights as the bloke just isn't up for a contest imho. I'm also very anti Goldstein but realise this is a polarising topic.

I think the mid pricer strategy is more workable this year but would maybe rethink implementation as surely a mod price team should have one of Embley/Ball in it?

betch ya

i dont think 4 mid rookies is insane. its a risk yes but if u get the right ones and they all max out then youll be set later on in the season. think its a good strategy and saves every team from being just about the same as one another
