masher

firstly pavlich has had surgery in the off season so maybe look at him second half of the season. then it all depends do you think ball, embley, mayes will core higher than cotchin, k mitchell and byrnes?

t-rent

so yeah been changing heaps and have this atm...

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Duffield, Vlastuin, Goodes (Docherty, Terlich)

MID: Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, Fyfe, Wines, K.Mitchell, O'Maera (Crouch, Viney)

RUCK: Jacobs, Luey (Daw, Currie)

FWD: Cox, Rockliff, Robinson, Martin, Mayes, Macaffer (Menzel, Neade)

6.4k left over...do you guys think I needa have a mid pricer in the fwd line? any other suggestions?

I dont think menzel will play early and I think if Neade does he will almost certainly get the green vest (and even then will not play regularly early).
So in my opinion you will have possibly 2 non playing rookies which for me is unacceptable, especially when they are the same position. If a FWD rookie presents itself (or perhaps go for Patton and Lycett) then you are fine but if not I would consider turning Murphy/Fyfe into say Moloney to free up the cash to get some playing mid price forwards who will increase in price.

better or worse?

thefuzz

I think it's better
you may be sacrificing a few points but not many and this way you will be generating more cash.

Swan Fan

All these changes and such, have you considered taking out Swan as this would free up alot of cash and make him an early upgrade target. Swan to Watson frees up about $100,000 and hopefully Jobe rises while Dane drops and then you can trade sideways... Personally I would look at Swan out for O'Keefe gives you an extra $180,000, spend the $80,000 and bank the $100,000.... high risk high reward..   :o
