Def Would look at Downgrading Duffield to Yarran apart from that your defence is OK Atley is a good POD.
Mids are a bit too strong i would lose one of Hanneberry or Jack and bring in another Rookie into your team either Wines or Lonergan or even Koby Stevens
Rucks Very Solid
Fwds With the changes i have told you to make i would upgrade Chris Knights to a Premium forwardyou have a Choice of Franklin Walker,Roughead,Hawins,Stevie J. Stevie J is a good pick and he has DPP this year.

As your forward line is far too weak at the moment i give your team an 6.5/10

no eye deer

As JB1 said, stregnthen your fwds! Prefer Zorko over SJ for a smokie, but thats just personal opinion.
Mids, maybe lose Hanneberry for a rook (plenty to choose from) and upgrade Jack to a super prem.
Rucks, most picked combo going around, not that theres anything wrong with that.
Dont worry, you will spend a lot more hours upon days agonising over your team before round one I'm sure! :)

Almost there boys. Think I may have done final draft. What you all think please rate for rate. I've gone with more unique players who I believe will have break out  year and also stocked up more on the backline with a mid structure in the forward only having 2 premiums. Let me know what you think as I need all the advice please.

Back line: B. Goddard, B.Gibbs, P.Duffield, B.Reilly, P.Hanley, J.Pittard
Reserves: (D.Terlich, S.Docherty)

Mid: G.Ablett, S.Pendelbury, T.Cotchin, K.Jack, L.Shuey,  L.Ball, B.Crouch, J.O'Mera
Reserves: (K.Mitchell, J.Viney)

Rucks: Goldstein, Luenberger
Reserves: (S.Rowe, D.Currie)

Forwards: D.Cox, T.Rockliff, T.Varcoe, C.Knights, B.Staker,  B.Maccafer
Reserves: (T.Lee, S.Kerridge)

#reasons for so many mid picks is cause we have 30 trades and also I want to be different an get the rare gems not many people have cause that what makes a winning team. Been doing research on all these players, some people say drop knights but can't do that cause in sanfl he averaged 26 touches last year and Choco is the coach and I hear knights is playing half flank so will e getting lots of the ball. Choose a more prem type backline as Hopefullt my uniques do well ie Reilly and Hanley. Gone a good structure I believe in midfield with heavys and mid price players. Only concern is rookies at this stage I think. Gone light in forward line as I believe not really good stand outs in forward line this year and don't want the same players as everyone else. Will upgrade forward line as rounds go by if needed .

Tell me what you rate it and if you like the uniqueness picks I picked. Also if you believe I should leave as is or change things round pleas help. All feed back welcome.
Thank you

This version is better.

Whilst I understand your desire to remain away from the ff flock, it is hard to see why you would avoid someone with as much upside as Cox (proven, NicNat out for a while and DPP) for the sake of being different.

High risk means high reward but I can guarantee you that your ego will interfere with your ability to cut loose your mistakes and when a few of your speculative mids start flailing, and flail they will, your will hold onto them for too long and will rue the day you chose not to conform to ff populist selections.

I hope you get my drift.

7.3/10

Thanks for letting me know mate. If I were to make some changes. What would you suggest to still keep my uniques and have best of both worlds mate. Thanks

If you were to get rid of Ball and Varcoe (since you want Knights), could you afford a premium forward and another mid rookie?

Hanley / Reilly / Shuey / Jack all  fine if you l,ike them. A lot do. A lot don't.

agree with this point, also downgrade Reilly (95ish) to Yarran (85-90ish). +130K
Ball (85ish) to a wines/Stevens (75ish) . +115K

dunno how much money you have but thats an extra $245K to upgrade Varcoe/Knights (75-80ish) to a premo.
(Dusty/wright/Breust/Stevie J/Tex) I'd go Tex (105+ IMO)

I like Jack/Shuey. I think both will avg 115ish.

Backs: Very Very Risky. Duffield, Reilly & Hanley. I would only take 1 or 2 of those and downgrade the others to a Def Rook.

Mids: GAJ,Pendles,Cotch regulation. Jack & Shuey I really am unsure of. Both could have off seasons. I would dump one and use the cash to upgrade the other to JPK/Jelwood/Lids. Ball is solid and quite a good pickup for his price. Not many people grabbing either.

Rucks: Solid & Regulation.

Fwds: I would be very concerned without Buddy. Most people will have him and if he pulls out some big scores could hurt you. Don't really think 2 Fwd Premos is enough. Both Varcoe & Knights are good although I would try to find a way to upgrade one to a Premo in Walker or if you can afford Buddy he would be a better choice.  :)

Overall: 7/10 Good Job  :)

Shuey -> Whitfield & Jack -> Jelwood

Ringo

Solid Team here

Def: Would only take one of Reilly or Hanley downgrade the other to a rookie Thurlow, Van Nunen, Vlastin , Colquhon a couple to keep eye on in NAB cup
Mids: Would take one of only Jack or Shuey and downgrade to a rookie quite a number to look at in NAB cup. Shuey would be my choice but go with your gut.
Rucks: Sound no issues,
Fwds: Very week here with Varcoe at F3 Would be using cash gained from downgrades in other lines to bring in prem fwds you can afford, Not sure that Knights will make Tigs 22 either.

Overall rate team 7/10 - Sound base to work with though,

nightwalker_1310au

Thank you Ringo mate so what your saying is drop either Shuey or jack and you would keep Shuey. Also droo hanly and keep Reilly and pick rookie in back line will prob go the thurlow everybody seems to be on him and then upgrade to players in forward line . Upgrade knights and keep Varcoe. Will have update draft up tomoz please comment ONce up mate. Thanks

Ringo

No your choice of Hanley or Reilly did not make a recommendation and Just suggested keeping Shuey but also said go with gut in these decisions.
