so guys.. big news day on the drugs in sport scandal..
while you're trying to take that all in - take a look at my team

DEF - Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Broughton, Staker, Pittard (Terlich, Colquhoun)

MID - Cotchin, Pendlebury, Greene, Barlow, Moloney, Toumpas, Menzel, B Goodes (O'Meara Viney)

RUC - Mumford, Luey (Rowe, Grundy)

FWD - Rockliff, Riewoldt, Martin, de Boer, Petrie, Byrnes (Daniher, Kerridge)

some stock standard options - but no GAJ or DT Pig in Swan!! better value elsewhere i say

so.. tips/hints/thoughts

do i need to get the Phatmaniacs on the peptides to catch up to everyone else?

Defence looks good.

Not sure who your captain will be, I always like one of those players in my starting team. Remember you get double points so they are worth the cash.

Greene is an interesting point of difference, Keep an eye his NAB cub performances. I like Barlow and Moloney.

You need to find room for B Crouch, swapping Menzel (Cats Menzel had Lars over christmas) for him  and then upgrading one mid to an uber premium would be worth it in my opinion.

Nick Riewoldt as a dream team player is gone, I would pick him and I don't think de Boer have much room for improvement.

Young KPF don't score well in there first year, so dont pick them (Daniher)

I would look at Lee from St Kilda, Macaffer from Collingwood, Kennedy from Collingwood etc.

Cox as a forward is good value, especially with Nic Nat being out the first 4-5 weeks.

I am not a big fan of Mumford, do not see any upside and I don't think he will finish in the top 4 rucks.

I would look at Sandilands, Maric or Jacobs - Some people like MacIntosh or the bombers ruckmans. I personally have Sandilands, who has had a great preseason and looks good for round 1.

Overall Tips - try to add a view more premiums, you have too many mid prices for my liking. I would start Macaffer as my 6th forward which allows you to upgrade other areas.

Why are you picking Goodes as a mid, when he can play as a back. I dont see the value in that. Dual Position players are not as valuable this year due to 2 trades a week.

I would try to find room for Embley, maybe instead of Toumpas as I think he will average 90+ and could be a keeper as a 9th mid at the end of the year.

Hope that helps.

Good structure
Great midfield full of uniques in Barlow, Greene and Moloney, plus no SwAblett :D
Mumford top pick when considering his easy start
Riewoldt also a super pick, could go 95+ average again with his easy fixtures.

Dislikes
Broughton- Heppell is a much better option for just 30k more, Hepp will go 94+ while can't see Broughts cracking 90.
Unsure on Dish, why are you going with him? Something I'm missing?
Would prefer Fyfe to Barlow, should average more and is cheaper.

Ratings
Backs: 8/10
Mids: 8.9/10

Forwards: 8.9/10
Overall: 8.4/10 good team while plenty of neat PODs.

Backs look pretty solid, I'd like to see a Gaj or Swanny just for the extra 5-10 pts per week x2 you get as captain. I think Goodes need to be promoted, and Viney should prob start ahead of Toumpas? Anyone agree? Forwards are average but ok, which Roo is it, J or N? But all in all seems pretty balanced.
