OK, so here is what I've done, tell me your thoughts please.

B: Goddard, Grimes, Gibbs, Heppell, Staker, Docherty, (Terlich, Clisby).

C: Swan, Ablett, Beams, Murphy, Ball, Wines, O'Meara, Viney, (Lonergon, Redfern).

R: Jacobs, Leuenberger, (Currie, Naismith).

F: Cox, Johnson, Thomas, Rockliff, Knights, Macaffer, (Lee, Dwyer).

OK, so took out Pendlebury and put in Dane Beams, took out Chapman and put in Dale Thomas, have $100 left, haha.

Thomas got 90 or more in most games I see last season.
Keep an eye out, he says he's going to be fit for round 1 but Bucks said he may hold him back. He's decent value though especially as a dpp.
I reckon it's shaping as a pretty good team for starters.  :D

Not quite, dpp - dual position player or mpp - multi position player. Same thing.
They can however play down back (if they're allowed) and up front, so you were close.

Pfeiffer81

I was close... haha... cheers Granny.

I'm a Carlton lad, but really looking forward to seeing how Viney and O'Meara go, could be good to watch, especially Viney.

Pfeiffer81

Thoughts on taking out Docherty down back and putting in rookie Goodes?

...or, keeping Docherty and swapping Staker for Goodes down back?

Pfeiffer81

Also, still not sold on Steve Johnson up forward... I have $100 left over, so take out Johnno for who?

Pfeiffer81

OK, so just took out Beams and put Pendles in, then took out Johnson up forward and put Robinson in a long side Thomas, this now gives me $53,000 I think it was, so... side is at this stage:

B: Goddard, Grimes, Gibbs, Heppell, Staker, Docherty, (Terlich, Clisby).

C: Swan, Ablett, PENDLEBURY, Murphy, Ball, Wines, O'Meara, Viney, (Lonergon, Redfern).

R: Jacobs, Leuenberger, (Currie, Naismith).

F: Cox, ROBINSON, Thomas, Rockliff, Knights, Macaffer, (Lee, Dwyer).

Thoughts and opinions are welcome.

I'd hold off on Goodes, he needs a promotion from the rook list atm, but he looks the Goodes to be promoted. Dunno if they have a spot but he should be ahead of Jong and Austin. I kinda think Staker has to stay, everyone will have him. I really don't like Knights though even as a dpp, recurring soft tissue injuries scream at me: don't do it! His last good season was '07 since then he's missed between 4-17 games a season.

Been reading a lot tonight and just thought I'd change a few things in the side, so here it is, tell me what you think guys.

B: Goddard, Broughton, Gibbs, Heppell, Staker, Stevenson, (Terlich, van Unun).

C: Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, Fyfe, Wines, O'Meara, Viney, (Lonergon, Redfern).

R: McIntosh, Leuenberger, (Currie, Rowe).

F: Cox, Johnson, Thomas, Rockliff, Byrnes, Macaffer, (Lee, Dwyer).

Skipper is Swan, vice is Ablett.

Thoughts on this side?
