FOOTY IS BACK

Risky YES!

I can see it working due to the fact most people have 2 rookies on the ground in the forward line anyway, Staker and caffer have better job security and should out score the other rookie forwards.

ronl

Currently have McCaffer, not sold on Staker.  Don't need him for DPP link since I don't have Broughton in my backs.

ando_10

yeah his DPP doesnt concern me cause i also dont have broughton. but he is seriously cheap. on the other hand he has the knees of an 90 year old man

dmac07

Not too risky, better than two rookies as there aren't a lit of obvious ones in the fwds right now. I have them t f6-7 but if I get rid of varcoe Ill play them both on the field too.

brownmans muffins

Both locked in for me - although Stakes may be DEF depending on availability of other cheapies.

Job security cancels out injury history?

They're both priced at scoring about 25ppw but in reality should average at least triple that.

So unless there's some mid-pricers that you expect to pump out 100+ consistently I think the cash can be better spent elsewhere.

quinny88

Both locked if they look good in nab cup

Jay

I have both of those plus Tom Lee

GM

Wanting some good signs in the nab F6 & F7 atm

I agree, but not at 5-6, there's great value in the forwards if you look for it

Mac will be in if he goes well in the (blatent over commesialization in the nab) Cup, if he even looks like being in the starting team he goes in

Maybe both at 6-7 but surely we can find a way to get a good F5 in our team ???

auscoyote

having the same problem!

Staker Yes,

Dont know if Mccaffer is in the best 22 and if you were starting him you would want some back up and i dont know if Lee is it either. Nab should tell us more.

If i started them both i could squeeze Sandilands in 8)        mmmm still too risky without bench cover

In 2010 Collingwood dominated teams with the press. Once the ball went inside 50, it didn't come out easily, if at all.
In 2012 Collingwood averaged 5 less tackles inside 50 than their opponents in the games they lost.

Enter Brent Macaffer. He's their best tackler/forward pressure machine. Easily best 22 material.

Hope he is as it would solve my problem, do you think he will get a couple of vests first up and who is he going to push out of the side.

+1 100% Macaffer a walk up start in the Pies best 22 not going to be wearing JMacs number on the bench or NOT wearing it in the VFL.

even before that he was always an integral part of the Pies best 22. Lock him in and throw away the key.
