I like the back and forward but I think Fisher is a big risk, maybe downgrade to a rookie

Also like the forward line but I just dont think Franklin is worth his price, last year he was averaging 96 until his 200 and went up to 106 and even with that still went back down to 101, so I suggest steve Johnson

Rucks are Pretty straight forward

I think the mids need work though, my suggestions
Whitefield ---> Crouch
Ball ---> Embley
Then with remaining chash upgrade Zieball and maybe S.Mitchell, just dont see him averaging that much

Ziebell is a great unique imo, haven't seen him in any teams at all so far, if he can finally break out will be a top grab.
Clokey
I like your strategy of being a cheap-ass with premiums :P smart strategy imo

Neutral
Sam Fisher- I'm 99.5% certain you're only starting with him for his easy start, and he should average well along with the other sainters, but I reckon if you're targetting these games you should go for players like Nick Riewoldt who aren't frustrating spuds like Fisher is :P

Dislikes
Franklin and Bartel: SJ will average like 5 more than both.
Personally I'd prefer Stants, Murphy, Redden and Selwood to Thompson and Mitchell.
Whitfield: Sure he's a gun footballer and could be the next superstar player (and maybe dt'er) but for 40k less you can get Wines who will average about the same if not more. Waste of money paying extreme top dollar for a first year player, unless that player destroys it in pre-season.

Gibbs LOCK!, Heppell might get banned, but otherwise he should really smash it with more midfield time, but like i said if he has a spot. hartlett defently got some great potential just a matter if his hamstrings stay on song. i recon broughts will be back to his best and even better be much more consitent playing with his new team GC. i think ther is no need to have fisher, had good performances in previous years but with the solid amount of defence rookies id look into someone like docherty, and give yourself some much needed cash.

no doubt about pendles, fyfey is going to be a brownlow contender im sure. i think you should choose between ball or ziebell, and then upgrade one of thompson or mitchell. im not to flash on the 2012 #1 pick id go with wines or toumpas, or even another basement price rookie mid. mid bench nothing wrong with that.

standard ruck with goldy and leuy, grudy is ready made, but i think daw is ahead of currie.

Im not 100% confident on buddy just the fact he might catch the "Cloke flu" but realistically its buddy and im sure he'll prove me wrong. defenlty better options then the ageing jimmy bartel and i think i can see geelong declining down the ladder. tommy rock my boy he will kill it! i think cloke will be back to his best with the permanent absents of dawes. i dont rate byrnes at all and is extremely over rated, better players to choose from. manage you money well and look in picking sylvia. menzel wont play rd1 and has had an interupped pre season with injury.

overall i think you can move your money around better and find yourself with some better players on your hands.

Turn Fisher (doesnt score high enough) into a rookie (pittard) then Hartlett or Heppell (I'd go Hartlett) into Goddard (superstar).
You should have the cash to afford Swan for Mitchell I think, if not go Gary Ablett or Cotchin or Beams or Redden (in that order). You need one of Gary ablett, Swan or Beams in your team
I'd turn Whitfield into Wines and one of Ziebell or Ball into a rookie (I'd go Ziebell)
Turn Bartel (interupted preseason) into Stevie J and Buddy (pricey+ contract saga) into Zorko/Cox/Martin
I'd probably use this cash to try and uprgrade Cloke.
