no :)  this is my easiest team to pick, until i ran out of trades last season (SPUD) i was in the top 4 most of all 2012, think sportal is the easiest team to pick.

for me SC is the hardest.

Only 1 thing you need to know: pick players that get the footy heaps, it doesn't matter what they do with it just as long as they play.

load up your midfield, either in your starting team or ASAP through your first upgrades.

some numbers: (averages)

Top 10 defenders 2012; 122 -99  ( only 2 averaged 120+)

Top 10 forwards 2012; 124-112 ( only 1 averaged 120+)

Top 10 ruckmen 2012; 116-97 ( only 2 averaged 110+)

Top 10 midfielders 2012; 175-147 ( 8 of these averaged 150+)

My Team in Premiums will look something like this

D2 - M6 - R1.5 (burger) - F2

That is as long as i can field dependable and definite cash cows in my on field DEF and FWD positions. the hard part is balancing the fact the best cash cows are mid rooks and the best scorers are mid elites, you have to decide what balance will work best for you.

what makes it trickier this season is a lack of dpp mid rooks who are anywhere near as good as the mid only rooks on offer.
