Was just thinking about it, he might average about 70-90 and make you about 100-150k cash.

But is he worth getting over a first gamer?

FOOTY IS BACK

100% worth getting! probably better than a rookie due to the fact he wont be vested............ rookies this year will we vested over and over. load up on embley too

batt

Not in my books.  There are a bunch of mature agers who should get games early and net up to double what Ball will.

Eh, I could still be convinced otherwise.

Why is everyone talking bout L Ball he was average when he was fully fit , if anything you would jump on him towards the end of the season he will take a while coming back from serious knee injury

SydneyRox

i dont think he is the mid pricer for me

Because he's only 300k and is a 90-95ave player which are approx 500k. Also he has a great starting fixture.

yeah have a look at his average over the years (apart from last year) he is consistent and you know what your gonna get from him he is a lock for me now.

Ball is a pretty handy player too mate. Very similar style players actually

RobsOverAchieverss

At No Point did i say ball was a worthless player he is a b grade midfielder ie.... beams, dangerfield etc... hayes is A grade midfielder... i can kick further than bal,l he is a tough player and good distributer ...in regards to Sc he is risky i would at least wait till he plays some games to see what he does coming back of a  serious knee injury because history tells you coming back from surgery your not gonna just pick up where you left off...

quinny88

And I never said you called him worthless.. lol
You did refer to him as a Shetland pony though, so I assumed you didn't think of him too highly.
I think he will be good for at least 90ppg. You have to remember that although he is coming back from a serious injury, he was close to making a late season return so he has been right to go for months now. Heard an interview with him on SEN a couple of weeks ago saying he felt extremley fit and that the doctors had to keep him held back because he would compleley forget he had even had an injury.

We'll see how he travels in the nab cup anyway. Im still not locking him in 100% by any means

RobsOverAchieverss

How do you know i might think highly of shetland pony's :P

Lol and thats exactly what i am saying wait and see let him get a few games under his belt....wouldnt it be funny if an AFL player went on SEN and told the truth "My knee is killing me i think to be honest i am going to struggle and i just want to say what a terrible pre season i have had."

A lock in my side. Ball is hard as a cats head, if he is training at full capacity he will be playing at full capacity. At his price he can make you a fast $200K while scoring you 90+ each week instead of a rooks scores.

means you have to give something up somewhere else in your team but worth it i think.

from 2009-2011 is averages = 99-86-89-98

as for the serious knee injury - think Lenny Hayes 2012 :) i hope
