Do not over complicate the byes now with only the best 18 scores on field counting so just need to ensure you have 18 players on the field for each of the bye rounds,  Extra trades will help as well.

As most will know I planned meticulously for byes was only going to have 3 zeroes but ended up with 10 so that is also why I will take the byes as they come this year. Just keeping an eye on structure atm my team has a 10/9/11 bye structure.

So what I am saying with the extra trades this year and still having 3 through byes should be able to negotiate reasonably.  Does not matter then if you have 4 players from Defence with the same bye so long as other lines not effected.

Good points lads but having 4 premiums out for Rnd13 in the one line would be unsalvageable.

My only bye strategy is no more than 3 premiums with same bye on each line.

See Ringo's post above. Even if you have all of your defenders scoring doughnuts, it doesn't matter. Best 18 scores, regardless of position, are counted.

If it wasn't, what would be the point of having 22 'On-Field' players?

Would just mean your 4 lowest scores weren't counted in a round make it even easier for all the strugglers out there
