not much info given at all. Just that the Bombers have met with ASADA and the AFL regarding the supplements they were taking. That was pretty much all that was said and they cant comment on it.

This wont just have an effect on the Bombers, all clubs will be hit by this. Im sure it wasnt only the bombers that were using vitamins or supplements to their players

I think it was more to do with which supplements they were using that were pushing the boundaries of what is legal and what is illegal. All clubs from AFL right through to the state levels have lists of banned substances and know what players can and cannot use. The allegation is that Essendon went too far.

but again if it has come back to something that has come up in the last 24-48 hours it must have something to do with Watson going to hospital for scans IMO

True, but what if its a combination of those supplements that has cuased this. That would mean a blanket ban on some of the more common ones

No - there are supplement you can take and supplements you cannot. It is the clubs medical/fitness staffs job and responsibility to know what they can and cannot take. All clubs won't be hit by this, only the clubs that don't adhere to the rules.

I remember doing a SAC on sporting substances legal & non legal.

All supplements aren't legal, some supplements have a banned substance within the supplement.

Like some stimulants aren't banned, like caffeine tablets or cans of coke.
