I have sucked in previous years.  Even brought the AFL dream team magazine prior to last season and still was horrible.  Can I get peoples advice as to how they think my side is looking at the moment?  Would love to average 2000 this season and surprise the hell out of my mates!

BACKS:
Quality in all 4 premiums there. Waters is looking like he will a bit of a unique this year but still a great pick. And 4 solid rookies. Also consider... Terlich, Staker, Goodes, Colquhoun and Prudden if they perform well in NAB.

RUCKS:
Perfect

FWDS:
Maybe a bit light on in terms of premiums. Zorko, Martin and Sylvia are good picks but I would really like to see Rockliff or Robinson in there. Lecras never has been a really good scorer so I think he needs to be upgraded. Which Kennedy do you have there? GWS or North?  Byrnes, Staker and Macaffer are all solid. Staker and Macaffer are probably a bit to pricey to have on your bench tho if your looking for extra cash to upgrade Lecrras.

MIDS:
GAJ, of course. Pendles, great value. Kennedy, nice POD. Murphy, great value. Cotchin, solid. Varcoe, good value. Annnd then good rooks.

VERDICT:
I would consider a couple of options. Lecras needs to be upgraded imo. Your fwd line just looks a little too light one. Either a) downgrade one of your mid premiums to Ball or b) Varcoe to a rookie.

traded Lecras out and brought in Mitch Robinson
traded Staker out and brought in Lee from St Kilda.

The A. Kennedy I have is the north melbourne one.

I now have $2,800 left.

a big DT success tip - watch the nab cup very closely and if you can't read about it and look up the stats on the afl site each round.

defence is good sort your rooks out through nab cup. i would consider staker if fit and named for round 1.
midfield - you cannot start without swan, he is having the best preseason of his carreer and is the best DTer by far.

varcoe is a must good selection again if fit and flying in nab cup and named round 1.

i would upgrade lecras and sylvia, risks you just dont need to take, both are not so cheap they will make you cash and neither will be a keeper as in top 6 scoring fwds or even near the top 6.

I would look at byrnes if you are short of cash and macaffer is an absolut mist at 132K he will make you 200K and fast.

Oh and Beams is better than pendles for DT trust me . I would start beams and swan before any other players but while not everyone is sold on BEams they will be by round 3-6...

as for swan just get him in. just DO.
