JPK 2012

Ranked first for clearances and contested possessions, second in hard-ball gets and equal fourth for centre clearances,

If thats not a SC player Tabs then i am the Pope
Just curious, how do you rank first in contested possessions and second in hard ball gets :o

Isn't that the same thing?

Thinking out load. But a contested mark, wouldnt be classed as a hard ball get maybe?

yeh and maybe receiving a handball until pressure might be considered contested but obviously not a hard ball get?

Right that makes sence

but for this reason JPK is still a 120 midfielder and so is the Dangerman ;D

How is Jack going to up his ave and compete with the 120 guys? Side note I think Sloane could go 115 watch for a rise in fittness and a bigger midfield output after the bye than last year when he fatueged and player half forward after that

Sure he scored well last year in SC but in previous years he was a much better DT player than SC player.

Dont pick Jack, leave him for me  ;D
Not sure the numbers agree with you on JPK..
           DT     SC
2010- 73.7     81
2011- 86.5     96
2012- 101.5   119.6

Theres no indication of a better DT scoring in relation to SC scoring...

This surprised me a little when i re-read my research
JPK
Jack
ROK

JPK has gradually got better over the last 3 years (which is a given) after struggling to lose the tag in '10 and '11. I would now definitely say get JPK over ROK in DT and SC but would still go with Jack over JPK in SC even though JPK has a better average. JPK is more likely to be free of a tagging or minding role like Jack (whcih would help JPK's DT stats) but Jack's hardness at the ball is hard to go past for me
