Doctor if you're going by price why don't you look at prices at the end of last year?
Dayne Beams, Patrick Dangerfield, Steele Sidebottom..
The only reason they aren't their anymore was because they became better than just a fwd line player!
People thought Zorko was going to be mid only this year and I think it's a taste of things to come. Can see Zorko going the same way as those blokes as early as next year - becoming a put mid averaging 110+

Not knocking Tex but all KPPs will have a bad day at some point and that's why they are good upgrade targets. It's why people aren't starting with Franklin - because they know all it takes is an 80 off to bring down his price enough to get him in a little cheaper

Spot on there mate

Also if people think opposing coaches will try and tie Zorko down...this is going to be twice as bad for Walker...especially with no Tippet to take a good defender..Walker will be the main focal point and with the increased 3rd man up strategy it would be a bit risky...he will find it tough this year and we will really see if he can step up and prove himself...albiet with a softer draw. Shouldnt be any excuses really as the Cows have a few good mids coming through to start putting the pill on top of his head many times a game...will be intriguing.

Also the point of Adelaide having a softer draw up front? I wouldnt say Brisbanes is that tough either...their season actually is easier than the Cows in the long run.

The only KPP Im considering at this point is TCloke, I will watch Tex closely (maybe look at a trade up after bye if he kills the pig), not just for fantasy footy, but Im interested in a pure fan view to see if he can become a superstar.
I think he can, and he is in a team, especially this year, that will enable him to do so.

Guess i'll go ahead and say it! Btw Taylor wasn't suspended for the goal post pust, it was two sling tackles

When he came back the second time he was more reserved I feal he has learnt

His over agression was likely due to Craig pushing him to chase tackle and assert himself physically, well he did, yes Craig is gone but Sando expects Taylor to be agressive as well,

But the kid has learn't the ballance and is training better than ever, the 39 score won't worry me if he's hitting 150's and averaging 110-115 ;)

Trust me 2012 was just a preview, get ready for the Taylor Walker show  8)

True oh feisty one but Zorko yet to really feel the pressure of a tight tag from what I saw last year.

Admittedly not a lot of Brisbane was worth watching, but the games I saw he ran pretty free.

Rockliff for me at this stage felsty.

Cheers
Good to see we agree Tor,  Posted that as my concern. Picken was his  first real lock down tag and he struggled.

And in most games he was allowed to run free maybe because of his debut season and to a lesser extent his lack of height at only 174cm may have made it difficult to match up on.

Would pick rockliff over both of these guys personally

But surely he's still behind Rich, Black and others before getting a tag?

Just pointing out a fact Richo as I see it he could not handle Pickens tag,  Also as I have said opposing coaches will be working him out as well and making the necessary adjustments as he has only played 15 games of football,

Yep fair enough mate. I've got him locked in for now, gonna take the gamble with him

Better hope the coaches have him in their fantasy sides and keep the tag off him.

I'm looking at Zorko - but I do have a heavy Lions and Zorko bias.
He's one of their best mids already and shouldn't have the possible 'lows' that Tex may get as a KPP.
Both would be great to have by mid-season.
Similar rationale to the Rocky vs Stevie J post on here - I think Tex is more likely to throw up a bad game and therefore be available at a discount.
Can understand people thinking Zorko is overpriced coming off that rookie season but would also point to the comparisons made earlier in this trail re Sidey/Beams/Danger...

Looks like a man who belted Cloke's 2011 score but people picked Cloke anyway on 012 is going to be unique :o

I like it actually, I hope everyone picks SJ and Zorro over my man ;D

Just a quick point on people saying Walker has anger issues and what not, remember we have 30 trades this year and if he does get suspended its only one sideways trade (no biggie).

Seriously zorko would be low on the list to get tagged at brisbane. Rich is obviously the first target with black and rockliff close behind. and now moloney is in the mix.

Colliwobblers

i like both, zorko will be more consistant but walker has a higher ceiling especially in SC. Walker is pretty big he will need to be he will get double and triple teamed all season long.

Zorko will be in line for more opposition attention, but what are they going to do... let redden rockliff rich and black off the hook to tag zorko

i think not, zorko is a lock for me, 3 years in a row as captain and best and fairest at broadbeach, last season was no fluke and he is not some kid set to burn out in his 2nd season, and his team has too many dangerous players for all the attention to go to him as it has to many first year guns in their second season.

both risky picks and both i love but i'm getting on zorko and getting ready to get on tex asap - superstar. might start both with rockliff and cox (DT) Ryder (SC)
