Stevie J, Knights and Embley
vs
Staker, Sylvia and Fyfe

cheers

Stevie J (100), Knights (78) and Embley (88) = 266
vs
Staker (72), Sylvia (91) and Fyfe (106) = 269

In option 1, you've only got one guaranteed keeper. In Option 2, you have 2 potential keepers.
Stevie J starts the year very slowly, he's definitely not a must have to start with, just make sure you get him in before round 9.

Option 2 for me.

hahahaha I had really similar numbers
Stevie J, 98 Knights 78 and Embley 91= 267
vs
Staker 70, Sylvia 95 and Fyfe 100= 265

that being said, I'd go staker, sylvia and fyfe. The numbers work out pretty much the same, but staker is going to churn out more cash than knights, and eitherway you get a fwd keeper, and  fyfe ocould potentially be a true premium, while embley wont.

Oh shower, I thought this was the "The Incredible Fantastic Thread Where All Combo Questions Will Be Answered!" thread that I started. Sorry to steal your thunder Zip.

Ziplock

haha, it's ok. It's good to see we confer on that issue anyway :P

Memphistopheles

Thoughts on this for a starting midfield Zip? Have tried to pick the four premiums I think will be the most consistent scorers this season - anyone you think I've missed or you would change. One fallen premium then rookies.

Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Scott Thompson, Ball, J Lonergan, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney, Towers

I'm not a fan of thompson- his highest ever DT average has been what, 108? that's not good enough nowdays, even with 8 midfield spots, I'd prefer murphy, or someone like Griffen if you're trying for a smokie. Also, not sold on Towers JS- if you can afford him, I think wines is a better option, or even tom mitchell...

Jukes

You're not a fan of Thompson but you are a fan of Ablett?

wut.

That's just idiotic, but not suprised from you

Thommo can improve imo, could get more free reign in his twilight

Thompson = 105 average last season, 103-107 average this season. +2 to -2 are his barriers.
Ablett = 124 average last season, 110-120 average this season, -14 to -4 are his barriers.

Thommo much better choice when taking that into consideration.

Except for you're just trolling, we all know Ablett struggled with injury in 2011

Basically jukes, stfu and get off my thread unless you have a legitimate question to ask. If you're starting without ablett or swan, you're a joke of a dreamteam coach- you'd have to get ridiculously lucky to pick someone who is going to average even close to either of them (ablett averaged 10 points over 3rd, swan 18 points), you lose massive points from that captain bonus, and you're probably going to have to use up to 4 trades to bring even one of them in unless they get injured.

as for thompson as a pick- his average has shown he's not a premium player. You have blokes who are younger than him, and have shown they can average higher than him in redden and selwood, he's just not a great pick.

Jukes

Ablett is a spud pick for spud midfields who think hurr durr he averaged second points week last season must get because baaaaaaaa

Also, the P&T board is for banter between players, not being civilised.

Ziplock

Jukes just has some type of phobia about finishing in the top 20 000.
