Jukes

Moloney, Goldstein, Riewoldt
vs
Boyd, Maric, Lee

Lee will be sitting on the bench, Macaffer pushed onto the ground as F6.

Cheers.

opinions on cotchin and beams?

dont rate either of them. I've made extensive posts on why, but I cant be bothered looking back for them- you've probably seen them anyway. I'd prefer someone proven like boyd.

Chopps

i m sure i have just cant find them, dont rate them from a dt point of view? considering they went 110 and 115 its a bit hard not to.

basically, yeah. Stats show that after players break out, they generally have an off year. The younger they are, the higher the chance they're going to flop. I ignored this last year and picked rockliff, who had beasted it the year before and finished the last half of the year with an average over 120.

and we all know how that turned out :P

rocky isn't the best example, since he had a role change. but the same thing happened to redden, gibbs, thompson etc...

That is a really good point. I made the same mistake with Rocky last year. Still locked him in forwards it'll be my 3 year in a row with him. Back on topic is there a chance at a Cotchin flop. Because I was thinking of an attempt to upgrade Cotchin to Boyd? Will this trade be a safer bet or is it unnecessary?

Newman (d4) + Murphy (m4) + Robinson (f2) + Macaffer (f6) - Byrnes F5
vs
Hartlett (d4) + Fyfe (d4) + Sylvia (f4) + Varcoe (f5) - Byrnes F6

can you straight swap cotchin to pendles?

if not, boyds a reasonable option.

I've got option one at 436 and option 2 and 443. That being said, I really dont rate varcoe as a worthwhile midpricer, I'd prefer to downgrade him to macaffer, who I think will average about the same, and upgrade someone elsewhere.

the issue with neade is that he's so tiny :/ like, he'll have to be freakishly good to crack into an afl side (even port). It's a similarish scenario with mayes- he's a bit light for his height, and he'll be competing for his position with fully grown blokes.

i'm not comfortable on eithers JS.

isn't that why you'd want Macaffer as f7, so you only need 1 other fwd rook

Ziplock

Ive been struggling with forward rookies myself, so I'm not fielding any :P

Ohailpin? I reckon he'll average 60-70ish and he's cheaper than varcoe...
