Hey Screech, reminds me of Saved By The Bell :P. Got to say it's a nice mid-pricer strategy compared to the normal Guns/Rookies strategy.

Backline looks solid! Chaplin an interesting pick! Not exactly a great DT scorer so assume you're selecting him due to his move to Tigers? Most people I've talked to on here believe his move will actually help out Rance's scoring rather than his own, but I'd still expect his average to improve off last year. Maybe not to keeper status, but to at least least mid 70's maybe with Tigers improving their side. Stevenson at a new team so could do well as with Chaplin, but rookies/lower positions will change come closer to the season. Certainly to keep an eye on him.
Top 4 mids good. Moloney, Stevens (Koby?) and Varcoe certainly alot of smokies here :o. Mid rookies this year are loaded, so I'd say only take a put on 1 or 2 of these guys, and save the cash on some nice rookie cash cows (e.g. Wines, Mitchell, Crouch, Hrovat, etc). Varcoe coming back from injury, never seen him as a great DT scorer but a decent cash cow. Moloney had an off year and moving teams, so certainly looks to improve. He's a forgotten man after last year! Stevens rated highly, just needs to get gametime. So watching how these 3 go in Nab cup should help decide who should be kept and who should be chopped.
Goldy with no more Hmac could return to form! But most go a Gun/Mid-pricer here so person preference on the ruckman you think will do great this year as #1.
Knights and Byrnes with Macaffer/Staker fighting for the last spot! Could work out and don't mind mid-pricer strategy this year with so many trades to play around with.

Will say that most people will tell you to probably downgrade a midfielder and upgrade one of Knights/Byrnes to a premium for a better mix/structure and take advantage of the many midfield rookies. I don't mind the mid-pricer strategy especially this year. More riskier of course, but can pay off if you've chosen the right players! But we won't know that until season rolls around. Hope that helps somewhat :P.

Hey mate, agree with HP on a lot of stuff here, but would definitely hope you drop Varcoe (who'll average bellow 80) for one of the hoard of gun DT Mid rookies this year who'll be capable of averaging more, then use that 150k on an upgrade somewhere else, maybe turn the Burger into Kruezer/Hmac?  or Chaplin to a Waters/Grimes etc, to get another proven premium scorer into the team, it shouldn't hurt your POD's that much :)
