Even if Nic Nat is right to go R1 i would still go Cox over Buddy. Expecting Buddy to come down in price dramatically

Why so tabs?

If I may speak for tabs, check the Hawks opening draw, ~7 games of hell... He could smash it but chances are he will drop in the opening rounds.

Buddy is also a little inconsistent and it is a risk you take - If you look at his stats over the last 3 years he seems to struggle against Geelong, Adelaide and Pies.  You also have to factor in that Buddy has not played a full season since 2008 whereas Cox has not missed a game since 2009.

how it affects his game will be huge. IMO will start poorly, but get into a rhythm leading into finals

Cox to start and later on when practicable, Franklin to trade in. Not worried about contract talks, IMO he is a 1 club player and I wish it had of been Richmond !!!
