What are some opinions on these possible changes?

Johnson --> Lecras

Zorko --> Cox

O'Keefe --> JPK

Leaves me with 8k in the bank

Ringo

Only one that concerns me is Johnson > Le Cras Le Cras is at that awkward price.  You have to decide what you want from him whether a keeper or upgrade target.  He will probably rise in cash but a little more slowly than a rookie say.

Other 2 fine.

Okeefe will slow down eventually and may happen this year same applies to johnson but he does have a good draw

Ok guys, after leaving the team for a couple of weeks I'm back looking at it after the NAB Cup, and I have 2 options I'm looking at here.

Do I go:

1.
Johnson --> LeCras
Zorko --> Cox
ROK --> JPK

or

2.
Johnson --> Cloke
ROK --> JPK

Really I haven't been convinced by the form of LeCras or Cloke, but I am leaning towards the LeCras/Cox option as Dean should dominate early on. Or does anyone have any better ideas I could do with the team? Any help is greatly appreciated guys, and put down a link to your team thread too for a rate!

Okay so I would like this to be my final team before lockout, but I know I will probably go and make a few more changes before it's all done. I've made quite a few changes this time.

I've weakened the defence by taking out Broughton and going in Stevenson.
Swapped Goldstein to Maric.
Swapped Lee to Karnezis and LeCras to Cloke

Definitely makes my forward line a lot stronger and Cox can swap to the rucks to cover for Leuenberger if he is out at all. I'm a bit worried about my defence though and I'm not sure if I should go back to having Broughton at D4 or if I can afford to have all the rookeis in there. What are your thoughts guys?

And as always, leave a link to your team and I will be happy to help you out wit ha rate of my own :)

Nice team BB.
I like how your backline, I've got it similair to yours. I reckon Hanley is a gun!
Nice midfield, it's also looking similair to mine. Fyfe underpriced and is a gun while the other are good selections!
Maric is a gun! Not sure if Berger will play round one, but if he does I'd have him.
Cox and Rocky are near locks. Cloke I reckon will get back to his best this year, while I like Karnezis, reckon a break out year for him. Byrnes should increase his average at the Dees also.
I don't think there's anything that needs to be changed

I don't really like Cloke but he could go back to 2011 form. Swan is more suited to DT but is still a gun. Could downgrade Swan to Pendles as I think Pendles will score more. Overall a strong team, 9/10

very solid midfeild I like fyfe in there.
Backline might need one more mid pricer for my liking, but I can see what you are trying to do forward to cover for luey if his not there r1.

Maric is a great player and already proven, but I think some of the other rucks are better choices. I dont see maric getting much better but I think by seasons end there will be others just as good who cost less now.

Im thinking downgrade maric to chambers/ mcavoy / jacobs, downgrade brynes to a rookie. and then upgrade a rookie back too someone like an atley or hibbard.

Still very solid as it is easpecially if enough rookie backman start. Goodes is a still rookie listed so he may not start R1.

DEF: Like it mate, exactly the same as mine, think hanley is in for a huge year and hopefully the rookies play and do well, im only hoping for 60-70 from them but they did show some good signs in practice matches with both pittard and terlich getting over 100 yesterday. 9/10

MID: Very good, like how you have gone with swan and cotchin that havnt been in as many teams lately. swan should go 125 as usual and cotchin should really push 120 this year I think. Fyfe is a good choice, im really stuck between him and mundy at the moment but fyfe should really show his true potential and average 105-110 I reckon. Looks good. 10/10

RUCK: Not bad mate, maric is a good safe choice, however I don't think leuenberger is a starter, even if his does start round 1 id expect him to start pretty slow for the first few rounds but could really pay off if he does start strong and makes a lot of cash. 7/10

FWD: Really like these forwards. Franklin, Cox and Rocky should all go around 105 at least and cloke a good choice as he is definitely underpriced after his off year in 2012, he should be back to his best with the off field issues away from him and should average about 95 I think. Karnezis looks the goods and is in for a breakout and byrnes should do okay at the dees. 10/10

Overall: Really good looking team mate, I think you will do well if leuy is named round 1 and has a good start, its a risk worth taking when he is so cheap. Best of luck and all the best, can see this team doing well :) 36/40

Def: i personally like 4 premiums, a bit risky having 5 out of 8 rookies , 8/10
Mid: i really like your midfield, nice mix of premiums and rookies, 9.5/10
Ruck: leunburger is injured so need to take him out, maric is a good choice, 7/10
For: pretty good can't really such much about it, 9/10

Overall: just the defence is a bit week and leunburger is a risk, other than that it's pretty good, 33.5/40

Good luck :)

So my team is looking alright after two rounds being ranked 2,391 overall. All the lines are looking solid, except for the forwards where I have Karnezis and Byrnes. With both of them having break evens that they may well not achieve this week, I was thinking of making these trades.

Karnezis --> JJK/Monfries
Byrnes --> Dwyer

I guess these trades look pretty good and should make me some cash. I;m probably leaning towards getting JJK at the moment as a safe bet, but Monf does look like a decent POD. If anyone else has some good options who I can trade these two to, all the help is much appreciated.

Currently I have $63,200 left, so $555,500 that I can use to spend on replacements for Karnezis and Byrnes.

Ringo

Monfries is priced at $60k more than JJK

Monfries has a B/e of -5 whereas JJ has a B/e of -36 so it is possible that prices of both will be closer together.  So with the higher ceiling I would take Kennedy.
o
Dwyer is a virtual must to get this week with a huge b/e -102 set for huge price rise so need to be on now.

So trades Byrnes to Dwyer
Karnezis to JJ Kennedy

Need to address Mitchell in coming weeks if he continues to be the sub.
